Great microwave and price

This was a direct replacement and same brand so it made it very easy to decide plus Best Buy was cheaper than all the other box stores. The microwave works great and I do recommend to have a friend or at least a second person to help make the install quick and easy.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.diy install. went well. do have to trim edges of template to get holes right. thankfully i made the right choice and the holes i drilled lined up well. thankfully layout is the same as the whirpool i had before. top vent damper is very lightweight and bends up to easy, getting damper door in right is not well documented or foolproof in installation. you have to be very careful swinging the appliance up into position or stuff can get bent or drop out of position if your clearances aren't right or you don't drop the vent pipe down carefully.
I would recommend this to a friendGreat microwave. Not too complicated to operate.

Good microwave, but could be so much better

First of all, the interior light is totally inadequate. If you are cooking any kind of food that needs observation, forget about being able to SEE it. Also, you cannot see through the window clearly at all. Another problem is that the done signal is very quiet. Some microwaves are too loud, this GE is too quiet unless you are in the kitchen. I like the exterior light and the 2-speed fan a lot. The control panel seems fairly easy to use. For the price I paid, it is a good microwave. I just wish that I COULD SEE MY HOT FOODS COOKING BEFORE THEY WENT OVER THE SIDE OF THE BOWLS. It is too bad because then it would have been an excellent product and a great value

We wanted something powerful enough to cook, filter smells, etc. This does the trick. This isn't a reflection on the product itself, but the installation instructions were a little difficult to follow. It took about 2.5 hours from start to finish.

Such a pleasure to use you can feel the quality when opening and closing the door the stainless finish is excellent and is an excellent kitchen up to date

It heats as directed and is easy to clean. The door is a little bit loose-fitting and seems fragile to close but it's lasting this far. The price range was budget- friendly. No major complaints here.
