Excellent value with lots of additional features and easy to use

Did the job at a greta and affordable price. The brand itself is well established and for good reason this microwave looks greta without breaking the budget fir the kitchen remodel.

This microwave does all the basics we want -- heating at various levels; timed heating, a timer, a reminder. You can make instant oatmeal, a mug of tea or cocoa, heat corn on the cob for a minute before much-easier shucking. The turntable rotates so that the flood is heated evenly. It has a clock that's easy to set. It has a night light that can go on daily automatically. Ours is set to vent to the outside through the wall behind it. You can watch the food being heated through the window. This microwave is quieter than the similar GE model we had purchased 15 years ago that we replaced because of a broken door,. This is a good microwave.

Purchased this to replace another mounted unit that was several years old. Was pleased with the features and the way it looked. Unit was easy to install and works very well. I like most everything about it and would recommend it.

So far so good. Fairly easy install. It was to replace an existing range microwave so the new braxket just went in place of the old one. I did have to open the anchor holes a bit more because the microwave was a couple centimeters bigger other than that it’s working beautifully

This was a replacement of the exact same Brand and model microwave as was previously in my kitchen, it lasted for 9 years. The new microwave it exactly the same except the door is not as heavy and as solid feeling when it closes. Other than that everything is working great.

I bought this because the dimensions are relatively small for 1.6 cubic ft unit and I despise microwaves that hang below the cabinets or stick out 6 inches in front of the surrounding cabinets. I was replacing a GE Profile from the mid-90s and it fit into the existing cabinet cutout perfectly - does not protrude below the cabinets, and the depth expanding out in front of the cabinets is minimal - only a couple inches. I installed with the recirculating fan option as we do not have exterior vent ducting. Usually microwave fans have 2 speeds - loud, and just as loud but moving less air. On this GE the low fan speed is much quieter than the high speed, which is rare and appreciated. My only complaints are that the worksurface light could be a bit brighter, and the buttons sometimes require more pressure than expected. Overall, it does everything I need it to, nothing I don't, and has held up fine for 6+ months now. Would recommend to anyone who isn't looking for bells and whistles.

The product is really nice love it, but the experience with Best Buy was horrible. I don’t know whether I will shop at Best Buy again. I think nobody knew what they were doing rude and they canceled my delivery and didn’t even contacted me very unhappy

Looks great and is rather easy to install. Easy to use and performs well. Fan is very quiet. The downlight really illuminates the cooking surface below. The only concern is that the door fit and latch seem flimsy (no problems, however.)

Nice product so far, buttons are a little odd to press correctly and it is louder than some I've had before. It seems that the vent runs every time it's on, not sure yet if it's a setting or just the way its designed. Installation was straightforward, and the dimensions are accurate. Esthetically it is nice, brushed stainless looks nice and it looks great new.

The GE over the range microwave was a great replacement for our old microwave that died after 20 years. It was a great price and was very easy to install using the included templates and mounting hardware. My only complaint is that the popcorn setting does not fully cook a bag of popcorn. I have to add another minute and wait for the popping to stop at about 45 seconds. All other functions are great.

Microwave was easy to install and runs quietly. It has many options compared to our old GE microwave which lasted for 12 years. The only issues is the buttons are hard to see when the room is dark.

Great Microwave for this price range. It looks beautiful, very well made. Installation and mounting were mostly simple and by the manual. Very easy to clean. Love it!

Perfect for my apartment. Quiet, and also pretty ( stainless steel)

The overall quality this microwave is good, but some of the cosmetics fall short. The digital numbers are too close together and too blocky. The time is hard to read from farther then 3 ft. The arrangement of the buttons is not intuitive. The over head light button is located in the middle level of the keyboard. Considering how dark the keypad is it would have been nice to have something lit. It is very hard to see buttons in the dark (see light button). I do like the construction and the quick press of a number to start cooking (press 2 and it quick starts at 2 min).

After 24 years we had to replace our GE microwave, it didn’t owe us anything! So, naturally, GE was going to be the manufacturer but which store would we pick? No brained! Best Buy, of course! We have the warranty/tech plan, with them, What I didn’t realize was that it gave us free installation and removal of the old unit which was a $170 value. It basically paid for itself with one transaction. More on the new microwave: great price and SUPER quiet! What more can you ask?! It’s awesome!

Got this to replace a GE Profile that finally died after 20+ years. I decided to go with the GE after reading a lot of the reviews and GE's responses indicating that the bracket and the cabinet holes would be the same, so it should be quick and simple plug and play installation. It was late in the day and I wanted this to be an easy replacement. IT WAS NOT. The outer tabs on the existing bracket did not align with the holes on this new microwave. Had to Dremel the ends of the outer tabs to fit the new microwave slots on the back of the unit. The existing bracket was very sturdy and very secure, so I wasn't interested in figuring out where to drill new holes in the studs for the new wall bracket. Also they changed the location of the holes on top of the unit. <angry!> So we had to futz with the template to figure out where to drill new holes in the cabinet above and finally get this installed. So what should have taken no more than an hour to take down the old one and put up the new one became a 3 hour ordeal. The good: Microwave appears to work great and is much quieter than the old Profile unit. The bad: Couldn't rely on GE's responses to previous reviews and questions. If your GE microwave is several years old, or is part of the older but excellent Profile series, you can't just plug and play this new unit. You'll have to shorten the outer tabs on the existing wall bracket, and you'll still have to drill all new holes because they changed the location of the screws on top of the unit. Also, they changed the location of the range light and +30 seconds buttons. You know, the two buttons we use the most. Also, it does NOT have a fingerprint resistant finish. I think some websites might list it as fingerprint resistant.
