I needed a microwave because mine died and I didn't get this one until months later. I checked Consumers and they rated this one as the best.. Best Buy had the BEST price for it. I went to the store, ordered the microwave and it was delivered a few days later as told to me by the salesperson. It was delivered by Fed/Ex. I'm very happy with the microwave, but as mentioned above the door is very tight, maybe it should be.

First GE microwave lasted 17 years, second one lasted 3 years (beyond totally disappointed). Replacement was installed a little over 2 weeks ago (keep going with GE because of color match options), and it was horribly noisy, grilles missing at the front top of door, and microwave was venting out of the intake and into the kitchen, and the 13.5 inch turntable (per GE specs) was 12 inches. Best Buy customer service was awesome and reordered the microwave. Installation crew came 2 days ago and removed the microwave that was installed 2 weeks ago and showed us - those installers hadn’t aligned the exhaust with the vent, bent the exhaust door so it wouldn’t open, resulting in the air venting out the intake and horrible noise. The crew that came 2 days ago was awesome, installed the unit correctly and demonstrated that it works properly. This unit has the grilled, has a 13.5 inch turntable, is quiet, and works properly.

In-store on 08/06/23, we ordered the GE 1.6 cu. ft. over-the-range stainless steel microwave. On 08/10/23, Best Buy installers came and installed the microwave, but, when we went in the kitchen to look at it (before they left), we saw that they had installed a white microwave! The installers communicated with Best Buy and verified that we ordered the stainless steel one. Since it was their error, they left the white one that they had installed, but we had to wait until 08/28/23 to get a stainless steel one installed.
As for the microwave, the buttons on the white one were very hard to push. We thought it might be a fluke, but the buttons on the stainless steel one are also extremely difficult to push, even after 3 months of use. Also, the "Timer" button and the "Cook Time" button are right beside each other (the "Cook Time" button is right above the "Timer" button). That is extremely annoying, as we all routinely accidentally hit the "Timer" button when intending to hit the "Cook Time" button. Then, it is difficult to get it cleared and hit the right button.
Also, if you heat something and the cycle completes but you don't remove the food, you can't add more time or start heating again unless you open the door (somehow the microwave "believes" the microwave is empty, even though the food you originally put in the microwave is still in it!). That is also rather annoying.
The clear glass plate (that you put the food on to heat) is smaller than in our old microwave- even though the interior of the microwaves seems to be the same size. The bottom of the microwave isn't flat, but, instead, has some indentations on the bottom sides, which I find makes it difficult to clean (you can't easily just wipe out the bottom; crumbs or whatever get down in the indentations and it's harder to wipe those out, since the space is lower than the rest of the microwave).
As for cooking/reheating food... it's a microwave. Nothing unusual/different about it. Overall, we like it fine, though I do really wish it didn't have the issues described above (buttons hard to push; indentations in the microwave 'floor' that gather crumbs, etc.)

Picked this microwave up on sale. Couldn’t beat the price. Microwave wasn’t expensive, but has all the features I need. Installation technician that installed the microwave covered the area before beginning installation and picked up after himself when finished. Very happy with this purchase. Worth the money and would definitely recommend.

This machine is quiet, easy to use and has handy "Express" features. I cook in the microwave a great deal! I chose white to coordinate with other appliances and it wipes clean nicely. I liked the price and the installation went well. I recommend this microwave … and I've had several throughout my (long) cooking career.

This microwave was reasonably priced and looks as if it's been there forever. (It was a replacement)...installer said it was very smooth and easy to set up.
Best part of shopping, the amazing man who was so knowledgeable and helpful in store...Cecil, I think.

Does it's job. Good enough for daily use. The front door needs frequent cleaning as it attracts figure prints easily. The price is way more now than I purchased last year for the same unit. So not sure what is going on with best buy and GE. The surface light the unit comes with is yellow so had to purchase a day light white aftermarket bulb. After sale customer service is questionable so do you research before buying. There are better options available at current price point.

Ive had this for two years now and it was a great buy. I ordered it online, picked up in store. I was able to install this alone but it would be better with two people. It came with a template for the wall to make it very easy. The buttons arent that easy to press. Sometimes you have to press a little hard to get the button to work. Its easy to clean too which is nice.

Was for my elderly mother. Item worked. Was replacing one that was tripping a circuit breaker. Was not looking for a lot of features just easy to use and could press numbers for quick go. :). light is very good and handle was easy to use.
