Great microwave, very reasonable cost.

We searched for this microwave at several stores and online. Best Buy had the best price and was the ability to find which store in our vicinity had it in stock was quite valuable.

The model is completely changed and will not match previously installed models, meaning the installation will need to be from scratch.

If you received a different model than the one you purchased and want to reach out to Best Buy about this, their customer service is available at 1 (888) 237-8289. If you received the model you ordered but aren’t happy with its design, we can advise that as well as similar models being released over time, design changes may also be made to models over the years. For over-the-range microwaves, we can also advise the hardware (including the mounting bracket) that comes with the new unit should be used. Changes may have been made to the hardware design even if the model is the same, and we cannot speak to the compatibility, safety and reliability of using old hardware with a new microwave. Extremely load fan when operating though, Sound level was 80dB standing in front of it, like a hair dryer. The fan "automatically" turns on, so its always loud. It should be a whisper unless I turn on the vent, does the electronics really need 300CFM to keep cool? Many people commented how quite it is, while some had same noise complaint. I Replaced a 20year old GE microwave that was very quite, so I either got a bad unit or that's just the noise levels people are used to now... i will talk to GE about this issue.

Very easy to use. Easy to find buttons. Best part was the best buy employees that helped us. We went to a home improvement store and stood around, asked for help, waited for more 15 mins before we left. It's hard to walk through a best buy without getting asked if you need help. Will come back for future purchases just cause of the service. Thank you!

The only problem is that the silver screen comes down easily if you hit it at all while cleaning. We payed for insulation, they did a great job!

Great over the range unit

Original door was replaced under warranty but after a couple of years white plastic door by upper part of handle has a crack. GE should issue a recall on white plastic doors. Of course replacement door is almost price of new microwave. Ridiculous.
