I was only concerned about its ability of function and it's longevity. Price was good. No problems with installation. And it does what it is supposed to do. 3 months now and no problems.

Got the BB "Total Tech" promo for the delivery/install/recycle old. Worked ok for 8 months and then intermittent no turntable spin or heating (see online description of this as a common issue.) Closer to 1 year warranty date ( 2 years if you continue TT for $199 a year) and figured BB would replace considering what I was told at purchase of plan... Result: BB concierge for TT said I had to go through GE as in Warranty-- GE assigned appliance service to 'Repair" with an appointment in 3 weeks .. Beware Total Tech

The handle is all plastic and based on how it looks and feels, I doubt it will last long. So all those reviews where the handle breaks are probably true. The next issue is how loud this thing is. The vent fan is loud when you microwave anything. It’s obnoxiously loud. If your considering this might want to purchase extended coverage. Microwaves are the worst and this Chinese build quality just isn’t getting any better.

It was right after the warranty was over. I had no problems with it otherwise. It was very expensive but didn’t last long.

GE products are substandard

On Wednesday night , we had guests and during the process of warming up our dinner, the unit ceased to work and has not worked since. This is the second GE product I purchased that failed. No more GE products. Going to exchange this unit for Whirlpool
