    We wanted and got a simple microwave that appears to he reliable. We only need the basic functions and this one has it.

    We got this as an open box item. Took a little time to install as the mounts from the old GE didn't line up. But other than that, it works just fine. Nothing special, but it's a microwave. I don't need it to do backflips.

    So the microwave arrived with the dent on the side and the digital numbers are not working. Was not very happy with this plus I had to pay for them to install it.

    Absolute garbage! Just had the second one of these die in 3 years. This time it died in under 11 months. Getting a hold of GE service is worse than dealing with the DMV. I wish I could give this negative stars. I will never buy a GE product again after the quality issues with this microwave and their even worse customer service.

    Is an ok microwave The clock digits are spaced closed together Making it hard to read Buttons do not light up No pre programs

    Had this microwave for a year and 1 month. Died while using it. I did some research and replaced the fuse still nothing. GE will not do anything for you after the year warranty. Total garbage!!! I do not recommend this microwave or brand!

    Buyer beware- stopped working in 20 months. Keeps blowing fuses and now doesn’t work. Handy man said this model has had a lot of issues. Waste of money

    I have owned this microwave 9 months and it already has an issue. The microwave inside gets HOT even when it hasn't been in use for hours, or days. I am trying to figure out how to get a refund/replacement but that is not easy...

    Works as advertised. The first six numbers on the keypad add the corresponding minutes instantly, which is a timesaver.

    The fan motor never worked..right out of the box it was broken. We will not buy another GE microwave again because of this experience. Best Buy manager did accept return and was very apologetic and professional but it was a huge inconvenience for us to have to return it and we are still looking for a replacement. It will never be a GE that’s for sure.

    After one month of buying this it break down. You cant heat up the food . They said the magnetron is not working. The sad thing is it happened after 30 day that you cant return it to best buy. But I called the GE and they repaired it after 2 weeks.

    Bought this micro and after 1.5 years it broke. Loved it until it stopped working. More expensive to fix, than to replace. Trying round two, hoping to have better luck with this one.

    I purchased the GE 1.6 cu ft Over-the-Range Microwave-Stainless Steel on June 9, 2021. It stopped working on January 6, 2022, seven months after my purchase. Fortunately, it happened within the 12 month manufacturer warrantee which covered the repair, but, I am very disappointed in the poor reliability of this product.

    This microwave has stopped working after a little over two years. Before that, the stove light half worked and cut off randomly. I know appliances don't last like they used to, but I expected to get more than two years out of it. What a disappointment...

    It was smashed in and broken. They dont carry a lot of inventory so they coildnt replace. Just save yourself time and buy from lowes.

    Microwave is nice, however mine was delivered damaged the first time and then returned. The second time it was delivered with no installation, we rescheduled Installation and they did not show. So we rescheduled again. When they arrived to install it, they opened the microwave and it was damaged again. Best Buy was notified by the team and they have still not contacted me.

    I don’t understand why California gets all the crap models but this one is neutered with all the idiot features. You can’t turn off the beeping and mute this microwave.

    Microwave broke after about one week with smoke. Tried to replace and they dropped off new microwave without installing. No apologies. Tried to order another time to install well Best Buy canceled that order and the pick up S well. It has taken around 6 phone calls and a month to get a working microwave!
