Caution on full depth cabinets

Installed and door wouldn’t open at hinge. Tried to bring it out 1.5 inches, but the anchor holes for the top bolts are too far forward to work. Wish they had another set of anchor holes

While using, it flipped our circuit breaker...NOT GOOD! That's why I gave this unit an "Average" rating. I feel that a microwave should last more than 2 years used in a home setting. We really liked this model and the price was good, however this time I included an 5 year extended warranty thru Best Buy at only $60.00 and since I've been a "Total Tech Service" member for 3 years, I'M COVERED!!!!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.At 3 1/2 years, the cheap door handle broke. GE did give me a new handle for free when I called asking for it. I watched a YouTube video on how to take the door apart to replace it. The estimate for a repair person to do it is about as much as a new microwave ($250+). You know it's a fairly common failure if there are youtube videos on the plastic handle breaking. Not real difficult to take the door apart, except the internal plastic infrastructure is so thin and cheap, I accidentally cracked the plastic framing/infrastructure. Not critical, but it gave me a view into how cheap the plastic is that they use. I would not recommend nor buy again.

But just be aware that it has a power button but it doesn't really do anything. It has one power level and that is it. You don't have power levels like 90% on down to 10%. Also the door latch seems really cheap.
