works great and its very nice looking set in. The only thing it was missing is a book on how to use it that could be left behide

I needed to replace a fair new over the stove microwave that died on me. This one is great for the price. Installation was a little long because I've never done one before and I was by myself. Only problem was template for holes in cabinet above didn't seem to match correctly.

Looks good. Fairly easy to install if you can get the fans rotated in the correct direction. Lighting is excellent underneath. Exhaust fan is average. Control buttons are dark and difficult to see without adequate lighting. As good or better than comparably priced microwaves. Cooks well.

This microwave had great reviews in consumer report and my research lead me to buy it. Best buy had the best price and it was easy to order and arrived ahead of time. Instructions are clear and accurate. Was easy to install and works as advertised. Has a simple interface for control and does the job.

This was a needed replacement for basically the same model, only much older. It works great and fit the same space exactly.

Bought this GE brand microwave to replace another GE brand microwave that died after 5 years of regular use. The first one that I had was almost exactly like this one and I liked that it was simple to use. The biggest change between the two that I've noticed is that the clock/timer reading on this one is difficult to read. The LED light is so bright and the numbers so close together it hurts my eyes and looks blurry when I try to read it. Hope this new microwave lasts a bit longer than 5 years like my first one, but I've been told by the installers not to expect more lifespan from today's appliances.

The microwave is great. I like the raised turntable. The door of the microwave is a little flimsy with the plastic latches however.

Does what it should with ease. Nothing too special but covering most basic future. Looks the same as higher price models while many missing functions most if not all are not missed on a day to day. Not very easy to mount though.

GE 3160 1000 watt over-the-range microwave in white. Bought to match the range, refrigerator, and dishwasher. It was on sale, checked 4 competitors and your price matched the lowest found. This unit had a good review in a leading consumer testing magazine. It had enough features and pre-programmed buttons. It works.

Have only used it for a week, so I can only say so much. It is a basic unit and it works as expected so far. I chose GE, hoping that the mounting system would be the same as my last two GE units, but it was not the same. A new mounting plate and new holes in the upper cabinet had to be made for this one. My two previous GE units were purchased 13 and 6 years ago; the microwave is our most used appliance and they just don't last as long as they used to. The very first one we had lasted 12 years (it was not a GE brand, but I'm not sure it matters).

I’ve had a microwave similar to this one for 10 years, so when I moved and there wasn’t an over the range microwave, I knew I needed to get this one. It works great and does everything I need it to do.

Needed this model to fit the opening from my older version of this same model. Only issue was that the brackets for the new unit are different than the old so I had to remove old brackets and install new ones. Pain in the butt, but no problems.

I needed a new microwave and I wanted one in stainless. When I went there the gentleman that was in that section if I needed help. I showed him par of the model number and he knew the exact one I wanted. His personality was spot on, his knowledge was amazing and he called someone to take it to the register and it was all taken care of in approximately 10-15 minutes. Every Best Buy needs a guy like that.
