    Our GE microwave went out so we wanted to stay with the GE brander our replacement. We bought this "open box" item and it was a DIRECT REPLACEMENT for our old one!!! Changed nothing!!! Microwave was back in about an hour and we saved $250!!! What a deal!!!

    Makes a lot of noise on every vent level except the very lowest of four and the microwave we had before had the touch pad controls were back lit and easy to read. These are not and are very hard to read. We ordered this so never saw it or heard it before it was installed. While I would probably by a different GE microwave, not this one

    Where do I begin. I bought 2. One for pick up and one for delivery and installation. When they came to install the microwave I was told that the screws they supply are not threaded to the end and will not work. So they told me I had to go online and find the correct screws and they had to be 4 inches long. Then I could call Best Buy and they would come back and install it. I told them to take the microwave back. Later that day I went and pick up the other one. My brother came and installed it with the screws that were supplied by GE in 40 minutes. They never even opened the box. If they had they would have found the correct screws. Where they got the other screws they showed me I don’t know. But obviously these installers should not be working for Best Buy. So wonder why they get so many bad reviews. I can’t rate the product as I haven’t used it yet. But I can rate the installers and the company who sent them. In order to submit this I have to rate the product or it won’t be excepted.

    PURCHASED THIS MICROWAVE IN APRIL 2024. WITHIN A COUPLE MONTHS OF PURCHASE STARTED TO NOTICE AN UNUSUAL SOUND LIKE SOMETHING WAS LOOSE IN THE MICROWAVE. THEN THE SOUND CHANGED AND GOT WORSE. AFRAID TO USE IT NOW AS I DON'T KNOW IF IT HAS A SAFETY OR FIRE HAZARD. I'VE REACHED OUT TO GE AND CURRENTLY AWAITING RESPONSE TO SEE HOW THEY PLAN TO ADDRESS. ALSO THIS MODEL DOES NOT PROVIDE FOR CHANGING THE POWER LEVEL ALL THOUGH A BUTTON EXISTS. SAY;S IT IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. NOTHING WAS PROVIDED IN ADVANCE TO INDICATE THIS FEATURE WAS "NOT AVAILABLE". VERY DISPLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE (ALMOST 300.00)

    Installation from Best Buy was outstanding; however, the first microwave had a faulty on board fan. They just came today to install the replacement microwave and it wont even cook. Fan, clock and other features work but it will not cook. Just makes a clicking noise. This is ridiculous. Apparently I'm going to need a 5 year extended warranty on the 3rd one. Pfft
