So far so good. It’s a nice fridge with a good price. It looks nice and serves the purpose. Keeps things cold with enough room to store a lot of groceries. Looks nice too.

I received the second one on Nov. 2nd.The first one was way to noisy for me.The second one is 60% less noise. i like the door storage and the storage in the refrigerator it's self.
I also like the stainless front. That makes it look classy.

I bought this fridge after seeing this model was made in the US and by a supposedly reputable company GE. Best Buy did a good job with delivery. Noticed immediately in the first month that the freezer did not cool anywhere close to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, the recommended freezer temp according to the USDA, CDC, and FDA. Mine only got down to 10-20 on max settings and varied alot as measured by a digital thermometer. GE sent two different service companies who supposedly couldn't find anything specifically wrong with it although they too saw the temp showing around 15 degrees (as measured by 3 different thermometers) despite being set on max. Then the freezer started spiking to 30 degrees every week or so. All this was during the first 3 months under warranty.
I made multiple calls to GE, was on the phone for hours, and spoke to 5 or 6 different people and explained that a freezer spiking this high is not safe to keep frozen food in. Each time the rep was only interested in passing me to someone else and not interested in solving the problem. At one point they asked for pictures of the thermometers only to use those pictures to say my food was too close to the back wall. Makes absolutley no sense. This whole process was a half-hearted, slow roll attempt to delay and frustrate till I just gave up. No one on the calls attempted to resolve the issue which is that I have a fridge with a freezer that does not cool to a reasonable level and spikes to 30 degrees.
I expected more from GE but was greatly disappointed by the cheap excuses and lousy service. I will never again buy a GE product of any kind and would highly recommend against anyone doing so as they do not stand behind their products. Even more concerning, thier reps were disingenuous and even shady.

I putchased this fridge going on 3 years ago. It’s running very well and is roomy. House water line needs to be setup by a plumber prior to delivery or else the ice maker can’t be installed.

Just got my new fridge last week, to replace a leaky fridge that had water in the door. I love that it has no water or ice, so nothing to spill all over my floor or freeze in a huge lump of ice at the bottom of my freezer! This has happened to me several times over the years. Simple is sometimes better. I have a 5-step water filter under the sink in my kitchen, which comes out of its own faucet, so I don't need it in the refrigerator. The freezer is nice and roomy and I can fit my favorite frozen pizza easily! No more struggling with tiny shelves. Lots of room for a tray of ice or a bag of ice if we get company. Fridge is also roomy. Door bins can come out for cleaning, and they keep everything in place (instead of just a rail around the edges, where items can slip out underneath.) Really nice-looking, too, in sleek stainless-steal. Even though I specified this when ordering, I had to ask the delivery people to put the door hinges on the side that I wanted them to, but they complied. At first, I wondered why the outside of the fridge looked generic, with no name. I found the "GE" tab inside the refrigerator, while cleaning it before filling it. I figured out that I needed to take off the buttons on the front of the top door and push in the tab. It was pretty easy for me. But, really, it should have been done before delivery. People with less dexterity might have struggled with it. A small detail, but when you buy something new, it should be perfect. Also, there is a similar button on the bottom door and I haven't figured out what it is for. I did not see another GE logo in the fridge. My favorite thing about the fridge: It fits! I could only find about three refrigerators that would meet the low height requirement and fit below the cabinet above it. It slid right in! Overjoyed. Oh, I am not adding any photos because it really looks just like the picture. Except that there is this random button on the side of the bottom door, but it isn't very noticable.

This is our second one of these refrigerators. The first one had issues reaching and maintaining proper refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
Best Buy took back the first one and provided us with a new one. And now it is maintaining proper temperatures.

This is my first new GE 21.7 cu ft refrigerator and I’ve been very satisfied with its capacity and coldness. It’s been working well for over a month now and I hope it would last for a long time.

The fridge looks great and works excellent. It has efficient use of space inside and i love the fact that is has no bells and whistles. The fridge is loud when running. In the house, this would drive my wife nuts, but since we keep it in the garage, it's great!!

I checked the reviews before purchase and it seemed there were conflicting comments regarding noise. For me, and this specific unit, the loud cooling motor noise is TRUE. Its easily my loudest appliance in the kitchen. Not happy about that.
the feet of the fridge with the rolling and leveling mechanisms have screws that were mounted crooked and cross-threaded so the crown of the screw hangs down and could easily scratch my hardwood floor. Poor assembly quality.
The plastic that comes over the doors was hard to get off. The doors were assembled OVER the plastic so at any seem the plastic is visible and you cant get it out. At least I can't unless I completely disassemble the doors.
The handle mounting "holes" in the front that are present was not an issue. Contary to reviews I have read, the fridge comes with the GE logo and a couple smaller plugs for the lower unused "hole". Funny how that plug is not pictured in the product images.
In summary this is not a cheap purchase, but I feel like I got cheap for my money. It works so I wont give below 3 stars but DEFINTELY would not recommend to a friend.

Need a replacement for our 3 year new side-by-side which cost more to repair than replace, so we purchased this, a little bit smaller, GE unit.
Purchased the add-on ice maker, and had Best Buy install.
Overall, we are very pleased with this item.
