Great looking fridge love the new satin looking color on the outside and inside is very roomy. Love the lighting. Only dislike is that it's kinda noisy. Can hear it from other rooms outside the kitchen. Don't know if it's product specific or I'm the lucky recipient of a faulty fridge.

I purchased this item in addition to the GE slate colored gas range after much research. I went to the store to just see what Best Buy had to offer and left out having purchased the two items. They were both floor model items, but I have no regrets. It was a toss-up between the French door and the side-by-side in the slate color.They were installed on Saturday, March 26. The installers were cordial, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. The refrigerator exceeded my expectations. I love the double ice feature, the roominess inside the refrigerator, and the color, which adds an elegance to my kitchen. My only concern is if the taste of the water will change. It appears to taste a little soapy. I am waiting to see if that will pan out after a few uses. I purchased this refrigerator without my husband seeing it. He loves it. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator to anyone. My mom wants one now. Thanks Best Buy for the great open box price. Thanks GE for this elegant refrigerator

This was the fridge I wanted. It unfortunately did not fit. The dimensions were misleading when viewed online and matching it to the house dimensions. It was large, great color, collapsable shelves to fit 2 Liters and milk, slim water/ice maker, and a full cabinet in the freezer not just a wire rack.

I love this refrigerator. Having 2 icemakers is wonderful. I never run out of ice, even filling coolers all summer. The slate finish is great...no fingerprints, and is magnetic so you can still post pictures, etc. It is a little louder than I'd prefer, but you don't notice it unless the house is totally quiet, which is rare for us. I wish the meat drawer was 2 separate drawers so you did not have to open both frig doors to access it, but otherwise am very happy.

This is a really nice, big refrigerator. The best part is looks Beautiful and NO fingerprints show up like with stainless steel. I will never buy stainless steel again as long as slate is available. There is a ton of space inside and everything is easily accessible

This topline GE refrigerator has performed well. It is reasonably well organized with a spacious refrigerator section and a simple and useful freezer section. The two icemakers allow the entire water, ice, crushed ice unit to reside in the top left door. The ice cubes for bulk use are in the top left side of the freezer. The only quirk which has been addressed by GE is it was very difficult to completely close the freezer section without slamming it shut.

We really love the slate color as it hides all the kids handprints well vs. stainless steel. We upgraded, so we gained quite a bit on storage for all of our items. We also like that we can get ice from two spots, so we never run low on ice. The only minor complaint I had was that we purchased this item from the floor, so yes we feel we got a good price, but, we had asked the sales team to clean it up, they said ok, but, they didn't.

My husband and I have been searching for the perfect refrigerator for more than a year. We thought we wanted stainless, but then decided we didn't want the fingerprints that go along with it. Then we stumbled onto a refrigerator that had an additional ice maker in the bottom freezer. We use a lot of ice so this was a feature that was added to our required list. Unfortunately, we could only find it in stainless. We weighed the pros and cons and decided to wait. Fingerprints would bother me too much and I didn't want the added chore of wiping it down constantly. We are so glad we decided to wait because as we were walking through Best Buy one day we saw this baby! We LOVE everything about it!!

Liked the slate colors and the double ice maker.size was also a determining factor.

We love the bottom freezer, with the pull out drawer. Upper fridge has tons of room with excellent storage for the right foods. Cubed or crushed ice with water dispenser is A-plus.

We chose this fridge because of how spacious it was. We love the various options with the deli/meat/beverage drawer. The cold water at the door was very important to us with a household of 12 people. I think the deciding factor was having the two ice makers. One in the door and one in the freezer drawer. I love ice.... especially when I am pregnant! I would definitely recommend this fridge to anyone... Thanks, Best Buy, for awesome customer service!

This fridge met all, and more, of the preferences I had and was one of the few to come in the slate finish. I find the door open indicator very helpful and even full the fridge feels open and clean. More than enough space. Water dispenser good height for pitchers.

We were looking at another refrigerator to purchase when we discovered the GE. The slate color is a great alternative to stainless shows no fingerprints! The inside provides lots of space and we like the fact that the drawers do not take up as much space as other refrigerators we looked at. The control panel is blended in with the door and is it the first thing you notice! We love this refrigerator and would definitely reccomend purchasing it!

I love this refrigerator! So much room in the bottom freezer and the refrigerator! It has all the bells and whistles! We also love the new slate gray color. My only teeny tiny issue is that when the crushed ice is dispensing, small chips tend to fly out onto the floor. No big issue here, I just guess I need to use a wide mouth glass! lol

this fridge looks great in our new kitchen it is a lot nicer than our old fridge and the freezer on the bottom is way nicer than the side by side fridge

After owning this fridge for a year and three months. It started making this loud noise. The next day, I got sick from the food that was stored inside. Found that my food had spoiled because the temperature inside wasn't cold enough. Made a call for service, Technician that came out stated that the fan was an issue. Which made sense why i got sick and my food ended up being spoiled. The fan is what circulates the cold air inside the unit. It also made popping noises. At times, it would freeze the items that were placed in the drawers. The only thing I liked about the fridge was the color slate. I DO NOT recommend this item. Good thing I purchased the extra warranty. I will be seeking a replacement.

This refrigerator is really big compared to the previous one that I had. I like the advantage of having the freezer section at the bottom.

so far so good. Lots of space, Well lit, makes plenty of ice.

Great features, quality features. We love the slate. It is great looking and easy to clean.
