The unit did replace a earlier unit. The earlier model had the controls on the back splash with the new unit the control on the front. this left a gap on the back of the unit (unit to the cabinet) for things to fall behind the unit. I should have just cut the cabinet and not bought this unit. Unit works okay but the extra work to cover the gap so nothing falls behind is a real hassle. Don't bother buying this unit cut the cabinet and get a regular 30"slide in. For the money I paid I could have gotten a Viking unit.

I have not used the oven yet, but the stove top works perfectly. I especially like that I can lift the surface to clean under. I also love the look and control panels.

Unfortunately,, I had one and only one choice in this stove. I live in an older home, and “back in the days” they made 27” stoves. Unless I was willing to completely redo my entire kitchen, this was the only stove available. In a drop in stove. The stove is great, horrendously expensive, and unfortunately about 4” taller than the old stove. However, I will make adjustments to my countertop to accommodate this issue. My old one laid completely on a wood “floor”. This one we were afraid was not insulated Nearly well and so we had to completely cut out the wood to give the stove airflow. All in all, I rated the stove 5 stars as it is good looking and other than size, what I wanted. I would have preferred a smooth top, but that was not an option

The space for my kitchen stove is 27" , this drop in range stove fit my needs. To me it's a little pricey , I would rather to get a regular 30" one , since the space is not allow to do so. cut the counter top to be able to fit in is not an option to me , the cost gonna be to high. From the manual said you can't use a receptical outlet, only hot wire in, for safety reason. This would make it difficult to clean or maintain in the future. Timer is simple to use, does not come automatically with the manual, so you will ahve to call GE to get one for free. Over all works as advertised.

We are loving our new Electric Range and the selection we made for our budget. Highly recommend this range to family and friends.

Great range for small houses or small family. All the features are there just in a smaller size. Love it though.

Very nice oven. Works well! My previous oven was this same oven and I had it for 19 years.

If you need a 27" range, you only have a few choices. 2 to be exact and this is one. Worked nice, nothing special. Don't let them sell you a cord........it comes with a whip attached for hard wiring only.

Very pleased with range. It is replacing the same range which we had for over 20 years. We hope this will be such as good.

I like the stove and it was easy to install but DONT let them sell you a cord. This comes wired with a whip that must go to a box. A cord wont fit.

Smaller but only model that will fit without remodeling entire kitchen. Nicer controls than the older model.

Unit did not come with a backsplash. I had to purchase it separately for $187.00.

The size was perfect, bought it on sale and works great!

The oven has been great for us. I really like the GE brand.

This unit looks great. It fits our needs perfectly.

we have not gotten it installed yet but are anxious to be able to use it. so glad we found a drop in range that will fit in our location. sorry we had to wait almost a month for delivery.
