I was actually looking for something a little bit bigger because I didn't think this unit would be able to cool the area that I needed , but it did and then some. Also I was unaware that it was able to be connected with Wi-Fi that was a bonus. Overall this is been such a blessing and I'm so HAPPY with my purchase! The customer service I received in store was top notch. They went above and beyond. Thank you!!!

Convenient medium room portable AC

I use the app mainly to check the temp setting remotely. The exhaust tube gets very warm which my cats love. But placement is important and you should have it as close to your exhaust window as possible.

Super loud. Very heavy.

It doesnt really cool a room smaller than what it says it can cool. It turns off after a few minutes and then turns back on and it does rhis for about an hour before shutting off completely. The app that you have to downlaod because the remote doesnt work. Doesnt control everything. The unit is very heavy. The window kit collects rain and deposits on your floor so you cant use it if its raining.

Stopped cooling after 23 days with about 50 hours of run time - and of course no returns to best buy after 15 days. 30+ mins on phone with GE, and complex process and significant time out of pocket to try and get a replacement.
