Unfortunately, it is not very well insulated so when using the oven the entire exterior becomes extremely hot. This range needs more clearance from walls and kitchen cabinets than many others due to this issue. Don't leave anything on top of the range that can't take the heat as the entire top becomes hot during oven use as well.

I wanted a completely analog gas range because we're prone to lengthy power outages primarily due to hurricanes or most recently prolonged freezes. During the 2021 freeze i was able to bypass the electric igniters and light the stove top burners with a match. The oven however has some sort of sensor and I could not light it. 2. The burner grates on the stove top LOOK great but they are polished and smooth to the point of slippery. I've had to pans slide off already in the 2 weeks I've had the range. I've considered taking a file to them and notching them up. Very dangerous.

Disappointing not having that feature I would not have bought the item if I would’ve known that it did not have a timer and clock.
