I've had Portable Air Conditioner for a few months and so far I really like it. I like everything about it. I like how it looks - like the style - it's not too bulky and I like how the hose connects in a facing up/down position. My previous air conditioner, the hose connected from behind the air conditioner and it was hard to store away in my small closet. Works Great - Easy to install to window - Easy to use

Definitely easy to work. Heavy but easy to install. The only problem I had was fitting it completely in my window. I have new windows so I didn’t think it would be a problem but it didn’t fit completely. I had to fill in the open spaces with makeshift foam and duct tape to keep the tube in the window and the cold air in my room. Once in place- this air conditioner works fairly quickly and cooled my medium- 14x13 size room. Loved the ease of using it compared to the extremely cumbersome and heavy in the window air conditioner of years before.

I got it when the air conditioning system for 3 bedroom home suddenly stop working. I was amazed at how powerful this product is! It cooled my home just after few hours. I highly recommend this product

Great portable a/c. Cools off two bedrooms. Love the remote functions. Only thing is it's a little loud.

We have had this unit for 2 years and it still works like it is brand new. We use it all day every day. This unit is a game changer.

Good for my apartment. Works great for my living room, and i move over to my bedroom when needed. But it covers most of my small apartment well

I've owned several AC units and this is the best one. I have two of them now. The one I purchased in 2021 is still doing SO WELL that I bought another July 2023 for another part of my house.

Amazing . Cools down my whole living room. The box did come with a kissing cintroller but i mean the buttons are simple. On and off. High medium and low. Cool ,dry , ez Pz

I recently purchased this a/c from Best Buy for $539.99 and it cools my room in no time. We appreciate the remote control that also has a timer to turn on/off the unit in hourly increments. This unit replaced an older unit which required daily draining. Since my recent purchase (7/17/20), the unit went on sale for $449.99. I contacted Best Buy for a credit which they honored for the sale price. Their customer service is excellent and is the reason that I will continue to purchase my electronics and appliances from them going forward. I am very pleased with this product and service received.

The high-end GE Portable Air Conditioner works well, is easy to use with the supplied remote and is an excellent alternative to a window mounted unit. Buy it on sale to be satisfied since it is overpriced otherwise.

This unit is perfect! It reads the temp of the room and can be set on automatic. The top flips up and the air flows evenly. It is so much easier to install than a window unit and you can position the flow of air to wherever you need to feel it.

Not as powerful as I expected being 14,000 BTU but it does the job. Love the drain free option

I use this portable because my central air broke during the holidays. So therefore I needed something quick. I am satisfied with this GE portable air condition

When operating in a hot room or when outside temp is very hot, the unit produces a tremendous amount of condensation that blows out of the unit with the cold air and all over your floor. The only option to prevent this is to allow it to drain constantly, but the drain is so close to the ground, you need to elevate the unit to put a bucket under the drain (unless you have a way to run a house to a sink or outside from the drain on the back of the unit). Instructions recommend a 1 quart container vs a bucket. In my situation the unit filled a 5 gallon bucket in 5 hours, so a quart container would require near constant observation to prevent overflow. Aside from that it blows very cold air but warms the room up because of the heat it produces which offsets a lot of its benefits. In short not a terrible unit but definitely more of a hassle than it’s worth in very hot climates.
