Setup is easy. I have 8 total of these bulbs. After the first, the app remembers network info to make connecting more easier. If you turn off the fixture by its switch (not a smart switch or the app) and turn the switch back on, the light will turn back on as it was, so you can use a switch on the way out the door or when going to bed without issue. You cna also set them to automatically turn on or off on a set schedule (as youd expect from smart lights). Color control is with a color wheel or white-temperature slider. You can favorite specific colors for easy color matching across bulbs and light strips in the app.

So far these bulbs have been great! I have them in multiple lamps, and grouped together by room. I love that I can turn them on/off as a group or individually. The color scheme options are fun. And my wife and I can each control them with our phones.

These bulbs are actually really nice. I prefer to avoid Google, and the Cync app is a good alternative to Home while being somewhat more privacy respecting. They're pretty easy to set up and have a nice app. Probably not losing much over a Hue ecosystem.

Love these lights. Wish the color modes were brighter and set up/resetting them didn't have so many hiccups but overall they work great and once set are a fantastic addition to any home.

Greta light bulbs. Does well using the Cync app. Easy to allow access through Alexa. Although axles wont be able to modulate colors but you can do that through the Cync app.

This was my first step of my smart home appliances/lighting integration. If you have Alexa or Google Home, it works nicely with both systems (just follow the instructions provided). The lightbulbs have vibrant color options, not to mention great "warm or cool" whites. You can change it to set the mood or match any ambient lighting. Another convient feature is having the ability to turn lights off/on, if you manage to forget when you leave the house. I did get these on sale through Best Buy.

The best smart lights, connect via their app and you can set groups and synchronize all the lights you have in your home. I’ve been using Cync religiously for the past 4 years.

Excellent budget option for anyone looking to upgrade a room to smart lights. Personally, I was looking for Apple HomeKit compatibility, and this was the cheapest option I could find.

Solid lights once youre able to get them working. Pairing proved to be rather difficult within the app. A paired a couple of the bulbs and the other two just automatically became paired on their own?!? In the end they so work rather well. I bought the wireless remote so i dont have to use my phone every time a need to make a minor adjustment which makes them much more user friendly.

I noticed there are many brands and varieties of these lights. My kids have them in their home and is a great product.

The bulbs worked only 3 weeks then lost connection to WiFi called GE customer care couldn’t figure it out what is the problem.
