i am disappointed Best BUY never delivered the item i paid for
i shop best buy all the time--love their company --however never delivered me the item

undoubtedly, we got a dud. After a week, the icemaker produced nothing except frustration. I walked through the troubleshooting guide, checked my water source, tube, everything. Contacted for a service tech to come and bring a new icemaker but was told they'd have to assess it first, which would likely mean me taking another day off work. Was then told to just buy ice trays or bagged ice. I scheduled a pick up of the entire purchase the next day and went with a better, less expensive fridge from another box store.

Disappointed with the Persistent Chlorine Taste

I purchased the GE ice maker from Best Buy about two months ago, and I’m extremely disappointed. Despite using the same water source that worked perfectly fine with my older refrigerator, the ice from this new ice maker has a persistent chlorine taste that won’t go away, even after 8 weeks of use.
I’ve followed all the cleaning and maintenance instructions and have run multiple batches of ice to see if it would improve, but the issue remains. This is incredibly frustrating, as I never had this problem with my older model.
I expected better from a GE appliance. If anyone else has experienced this and found a solution, I’d appreciate any advice. But as it stands, I can’t recommend this product.

Needed a new ice maker and someone to install. Bought it and it was delivered and installed next day. You can count on Best Buy to be on time with a delivery and installation. And they always call to let you know what time they will be there.

not worth the money and aggravation. ice overflows at back because of poor design. never had that problem with my old kenmore fridge and ice maker. ice cubes are too small but that isn't a big problem but am trying to get to 50 letters.
