Nice but sensor buttons are very sensitive. Timers for drying could vary a bit more but overall, not bad.

Terrible dryer. Wife would return if we could. within a month of ownership, we had a technician out and still doesn’t dry clothes. Tech advised today’s dryers don’t dry clothes. We don’t use any sensor dry, only max time dry and it is terrible. Do not buy.

We are extremely frustrated with this dryer. We consistently have to run two cycles to dry towels and jeans, even on the highest setting. No matter how hot we set it, the towels and jeans come out damp after an hour. I’ve followed the instructions, and the vents are clear and properly aligned, but it just doesn’t seem to work well. Either it’s a poor-quality dryer, or we got a lemon.
So much for saving energy. I completely regret purchasing this unit. I would have returned it within the return window, but we were called out of town on an emergency and didn’t have a chance to properly test it until it was too late. Now we’re stuck with this giant metal warming cube.

Great dryer and works perfectly. Install was fine until I had to flip the door to open on the other side. Took a little extra time but now that it’s done the dryer is great.

Bought this for the low price. The clothes are not completely dried when using the sensing function. I end up running it manually for a little while longer.

After 4 dyers delivered that were all damaged, I had to switch to a Maytag. The first one took over 2 hours to dry one small load of laundry. The replacements were all damaged. The last was badly dented and the guys didn't even bring it into the house. Apparently every single dryer from the warehouse was damaged. This makes no sense. I had to take off 5 days of work to wind up with no dryer after a month. I would never buy a dryer from GE again.

We regret to hear about your experience. Check for an obstruction in the ductwork. Make sure the outside wall cap or damper is operating easily. If flexible ducting is used, be sure that it is not kinked and is installed properly. It is recommended that you clean the ductwork completely at least once a year. For more information, please check out our support article titled: "Dryer - Things To Check For A Venting Issue" article. Also, it is important that the dryer is level to ensure clothes are tumbling properly and making contact with the moisture sensors located in the lower, front of the dryer. If you continue to have concerns, please call GE Appliances Service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment to have your dryer checked.

Drying tends to take some time. Eco drive takes over and you need re do it so not necessarily saving on gas

Sensor/Eco Dry setting leaves clothes damp every time.
I'm just not happy with this product. I do not recommend buying it.
We're glad you reached out. When the eDry button is pressed, cycle settings change to reduce the total energy consumption of the selected sensor cycle. The eDry feature will work great for those items you like to remove and hang immediately. For optimal drying times, turn eDry off.

Only had it for a year and it broke down. Geeksquad had to come 5 different times and each time they needed to order a part. So we’ve been without a dryer for about a month and a half. Now getting an exchange. This sucks.
