Too big for my window I had to return it and they received it and made me wait for weeks before reimbursing me my money and I had all the proof

I did a lot of research on window air conditioners before I purchased the GE clear view. My neighbor helped me install in my window by lifting it and placing it in the window. That's all he did. I did the rest and I am a 76 year old female. I bought it so I could put my central ac on 80 at night and sleep in a cool and save money. So far so good. Love my GE Profile.

Product didn't work. After unpacking, assembling all the foam, wedge for window and adjusted. The product never worked out of the box.i had teies to contact customer service and they put me on hild until it was then after the customer service hours. I then needed to return the item. I asked a best buy employee for someone to give me a hand getting it from the car back to the building. It weighs 72 lbs. I was instructed where to wait for help. After 30 minutes i left since no help was coming. I returned it the following day, borrowing a dolley feom behind the counter and muscled it into the building myself. On a good note. It looked real pretty.

Wonderful unit, straddles the window sill so it doesn't block the view outside. Easy to install, easy to use.

Wouldn’t buy again

Doesn’t perform well, seems to be turning off by itself. Very difficult to install. Would like to return.
Your air conditioner is thermostatically controlled and is designed to turn off the compressor if your selected temperature is met. If you have the ECO mode turned on, the fan will turn off as well and the air conditioner will be silent. If you continue to have issues, check with the store to determine their return or exchange policy. If you need further assistance, please call 1-800-42-2737 to discuss your options under the warranty. Additional information is available in the online Owner's Manual. Click on the Features tab and scroll to the bottom of the features list to find the link to the manual.

its great and quiet, love it, great purchase. not so easy to install though, took awhile, plus I have a large window sill, this is so quiet, a dream come to, very little noise, and I can look out my window.

Couldn't install, AC expansion to 14.5 inch which was not included in the description my wall is 17 inch

Easy 1 person installation. Not as cool as I would have thought. Very quiet.
We recommend checking out the “Air conditioner does not cool as it should” troubleshooting section on page 16 of your Owner’s Manual for ways to improve the cooling. The Owner’s Manual can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the Best Buy product page.

This was so easy to install. Takes up very small amount of space.

For issues with a broken or non-working air conditioner, you'd want to call 1-800-433-5887. If your bedroom is larger than 250 square feet, we'd recommend a larger BTU model.
