So happy with my purchase! I love the slate black finish....it is so sleek! Loving the third rack, the ability to adjust the top rack, the bottle jets, the hidden controls, and so many other features!

I have never had a dishwasher so quiet. I had to check to make sure it was on. Cleaned the dishes perfect.

We have all GE products including Washer and Dryer. We ordered this Profile Dishwasher to complete the set. Delivery didn't call until the end of the window. Delivered it with water in it that dumped into our house when they set it down. Terrible instructions that were generic and vague at best used potentially for all of their dishwashers. Order of operations caused you to work under the dishwasher vs steps that could have made it a lot easier before sliding in. It appears they only believe pros are going to install something that's pretty simple for an average homeowner. Initial quality was poor. The trim pieces you have to fit the seals on were misaligned. We though this could have been an open box for a bit because of the weird glue and residue that still hasn't come off. Support brackets are strong enough to give it a solid feel so it slips around a bit. Screw covers were cheap plastic and bent when having to force them into the ill shaped trim. I don't think I'll buy a GE Dishwasher ever again after this.

I didn't need a dishwasher but this one was an open Box deal and since I was already buying some other GE appliances on a whim I decided to replace my old Frigidaire dishwasher. Big mistake because now I have to wash the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher and then I have to wash them again afterwards and that wastes water and it also wastes my time and causes frustration. It was a really good price and I asked repeatedly if there was anything wrong with it but they said no, it was returned because there was scratch on the door. When I asked why there were water spots inside they said they test them before they put them back out for sale but I have a feeling somebody had this dishwasher and returned it because it didn't wash dishes very well. The pictures are some of the dishes I pulled out of my dishwasher yesterday. It also has a drying feature but that doesn't work because there's still water on top of the dishes even when using the highest setting. I bought this dishwasher on March 28th 2022. I wish I still had my 13 year old Frigidaire dishwasher.

Horrible. About 1 year into owning this we found that it has been leaking underneath and ruined our newly remodeled kitchen. The rubber 90 split open.

Not recommended. Chrome trim at top of door pulled away twice in less than two years. GE fixed first time under warranty but refused help second time because warranty expired. Dishwasher does an adequate job but is very slow

Best Buy didn’t install it properly it ripped out of the cabinet and the top is damaged the dishwasher needs to be replaced by Best Buy. The whole thing fell out of the cabinet bc they didn’t attach the screws and then it was uncentered.

We had high hopes based on the reviews we read for the dishwasher but barely a year past purchasing we are very disappointed. The dishwasher as rust stains near the digital display which has also intermittently stopped displaying. In addition we now have leaking without even using the steam function that has begun discoloring our wood floors. Would never have purchased if we knew this would be the outcome. We expected a much better product from GE.

We were replacing another GE dishwasher and wanted to keep a couple of key features that were important to us, including hard food disposal and heated drying. With a few weeks of experience with the appliance, I think it’s time to write my review. Overall: It’s a solid, extremely quiet dishwasher that gets my dishes clean. It’s not perfect, and was a good replacement for the GE that turned out 15 good years of cleaning for my family. As for managing expectations, there are a few things that annoy me about this dishwasher: 1) The third rack limits the size of the glassware you can put in the second rack, meaning stemware (i.e. wine glasses) will not fit unless you drop the adjustable rack to its lowest position. 2) You cannot put full sized dinner plates in the lower rack when the second rack is at its lower position. The only option is to remove the third rack when washing stemware and full sized plates. 3) The Normal cycle with normal drying says it should take 1 hour, 28 minutes but it has yet to take less than two hours from start to the end beep. 4) Using the bottle jets—a nice feature, I admit—adds 23 minutes to the scheduled cycle. That said, the bottle jets are best for tall items which won’t fit without dropping the 2nd rack or removing the 3rd rack. See above for why that’s problematic. 5) The recommended detergent is Finish, but I have to cram the Quantum gel packs into the tiny holder in the door. I’ve yet to use one of the tablets, but I suspect those might be more trouble: At least you can squeeze the gel pack. If you’re going to co-brand, at least make sure the brands are compatible. 6) The door spring is wound pretty tight which will probably ease over time/with use, but be careful letting it go because the door will slam. Again, this is a good dishwasher and I am happy with my purchase, Don’t let the above dissuade you from buying this GE Profile Dishwasher, but there were some trade offs and you should be aware of them. I don’t think any dishwasher is perfect, and in this case the third rack is unnecessary and probably causes more logistical headaches than it solves. As for Best Buy, the installers they sent were terrific. Friendly, polite, respectful of property, and they were in and out in no time. My experience with Best Buy was excellent and I’d buy an appliance from them again.

Purchased 7/13/20 installed by electrician and have had multiple issues with the electronics component in only a years time. Currently it blinks 888 with no response.

I just took the dishwasher out of the box it was shipped delivered in, I haven’t even taken off the wrapping and there is water pouring on my floor! Did they deliver a used AND returned item?!!? = |

I've been using this dishwasher for about 3 weeks, and so far I'm very satisfied. It operates extraordinarily quietly, so running it overnight isn't going to wake the kids up. Boost dry works fairly well. Though water still pools depending on the shape of the item, it dries much better than my old KitchenAid did. Bottle jets are another great addition and upgrade for me, as are the jets under the silverware trays, which cleans them much better, and the 3rd drawer, though it only fits very short items (even a ladle will get it stuck.) I'm deducting one star because the interior is a little narrower and less spacious than I'm used to (the 3rd drawer makes up for some of that) and because the clips that hold together the top jets were bent and detached when this unit arrived. I was able to fix that myself, but it wasn't easy to do with the 3rd drawer blocking access (the detached clips prevented me form removing that drawer.)

Sucks we used it two times and the wheels on tray are melted we are waiting for responds from Best Buy

We’ve owned this unit since April 2020. It worked great until recently. A leak formed at the back of the tub which has caused extensive damage to our kitchen.

We have been using this new dishwasher for a month. Good: Very quiet and cleans well. We really like the 3rd rack. Poor: Cycles are very long compared to our old KitchenAid DW (That was awesome at cleaning). None of the tines on the upper rack will fold for bulky objects. The normal dry setting leaves the contents wet. The dry boost settings dries all but some plastic items but causes distortion of plastic silverware in the lower rack silverware holder.

This dishwasher cleans our dishes very well. It holds all of our over-sized dishes. We really like the third rack for our large utensils. It's a bit louder then the Bosch it replaced, but its tolerable. The buttons are sensitive especially when unloading. No way to turn them off( Have to cancel and it will timeout).

I love this dishwasher! We have been using it for about 2 months now and I have no complaints. It seems huge inside and is easy to load/unload. The bottle jets have been amazing for my family as I have kids who use bottles daily. I noticed with our previous dishwashers that sometimes the insides of the bottles were not clean. I have not had that issue since getting this dishwasher. GE made it very easy to adjust the height of the second rack, so even pretty tall bottles can fit, but if I am not using the jets and have something large to wash on the bottom rack, it is easy enough to raise the second rack. I also love the 3rd rack for small items. Finally, the jets under the silverware basket are genius! I think my silverware gets much cleaner with this dishwasher than it has with others, with less pre-rinsing. I also really like the control panel. You can just see it under the counter, and it actually tells you what cycle is currently running and says how many minutes are left, so you know exactly when your dishes will be done. I got this dishwasher after returning a Bosch. I was extremely disappointed with the Bosch because it did not dry well. This dishwasher dries dishes much better. There is occasionally some water left on some items, but it is typically minimal. The only slight negative is that this dishwasher is louder than the Bosch. I would not say it is very loud (before the Bosch we had a Maytag that sounded like a jet taking off when it ran), but you can hear it running. It is like low white noise in the background, and does not bother me, but it is worth noting if you are looking for something very quiet.
