Microwave does not seem to be working properly. Temperature is very sporadic sometimes items are hot sometimes they are just warm on the same setting. The power has also gone out several times during the operation causing us to restart the microwave reset the timer reset the time there’s definitely a problem with this unit. What am I options how do I get a refund or exchange?

The GE microwave performed right out of the box. A quick read of the instructions provided all the information needed to use it. Every feature worked as described in the manual and performance was outstanding. A main feature is the extra large cooking area which will accomodate oversize items.

I went from an old Kenmore so there was a learning curve to deal with the power.

We like the product just fine. and it looks awesome.

Best microwave ever.. Had one for over 10 years. Used it every day 6 /7 times a day.. Love it.

This microwave unit is very large, very light-weight, and very quiet. Unfortunately it began to hum, spark, and dim its internal light after five weeks of operation. It has failed completely after six. I am returning it for replacement or repair today; we shall see what the replacement unit does. Also, its software is faulty. The clock loses its setting after any options are used: if you change the power level, the clock resets to "--.--". If you use the "Add a Minute" key, the clock resets to "--.--". Best Buy and GE get one more try to provide a working machine, after which I will insist on a refund. -- Razorboy25

This microwave oven is a perfect size. It is big enough to accomodate a 9x13 glass bakeware. It has a moisture sensor as well as timer that really helps not over cook food. The design of the oven is very attractive and the controls are very easy to use. The price was very good at Best Buy.

Highly rated, but failed after 13 months. Warranty only 12 months. GE customer support wanted to schedule a service call for $75, then charge for parts/labor once they figured out what failed. Not a good deal for a $200 microwave - might as well throw it away and buy a new one. Very disappointed.

This microwave is great. A very efficent way to save on your electric bill and it will not only reheat food but also cook it very quickly. The turntable is large enough to put a full size pizza.

Purchased it in March, 2008. Stopped working correctly Sept, 2011. That's 3 and 1/2 years it lasted. Took great care of it, and didn't experience any trouble till turntable stopped revolving, and it's too expensive to repair. My Sharp before this one lasted about the same length of time, as did my Panasonic before that. I haven't had any last all that long a time. We do use the microwave daily and take good care of it. Would say that this one is just average.

it is a replacement for the same model,which was under warranty.the first machine lasted a month short of two years.this machine now seems to have a leak and needs service.not a well made microwave..If you buy this microwave make sure you get a warranty..

We now own our 2nd GE profile. The first one lasted 6 mo. and the keypad screwed up and finally did not work at all. We bought an exact replacement because it fit the built in spot perfectly and matched the other stainless appliances. It conked out just like the first one in only four months.

I bought this machine 2+ months ago, and I'm very pleased with it's performance. I had a microwave w/sensor in the past by another manufacturer, and was extremely pleased with it. I purchased this one because of the good price and the upgraded features. And in reading the reviews, I took into account the area where purchased, the date it was purchased, and problems. I did purchase the warranty, but I really don't expect to use it based upon the good performance so far. The sensor works great for quick, even cooking. It's perfect for corn on the cob, for one example. No calculating time or adding amount--one-touch cooking! And I do like the inverter defrost--it really does defrost more evenly! I do recommend this machine!

This microwave does everything, I had a Sharp Microwave before this oneand it lasted just over 10 years, I was going to get another Sharp but they only had the smaller ones in stock....So I went with this one and I have to say the features are much better,,,,The reheat works perfectly.....press reheat and it sensors the food and everytime so far has come out great....The price was a little high even with 10% off but I'm glad I bought it.....I just hope it last as long as my Sharp....I do use it a number times a day

Bought as an emergency back0up and works as indicated. We got what we expected. It does use more power as it causes other appliances to trip the circuit braker.but we like it just the same.

I would give their products a ZERO. In July of 2006 we purchased a GE Profile Spacemaker 2.0. After less than four years, the key pad on the control panel began to act up, and has now (July 2010) completely gone out. It will cost $300 to have the control panel replaced, which is more than we payed for the microwave to begin with. Consumers should not have to replace their major kitchen appliances every three or four years. Our first microwave lasted for 12 years before the magnatron gave out.

This microwave looks great with my other GE appliances, is roomy and cooks well.

This is my second GE Profile microwave. The first I had for eight (8) years and hated to part with it but in the long run it was cheaper to purchase a new one. So far I am very happy with the new one and hope it will last as long or longer than the old one. Looks great, works great and the huge turn table is wonderful.

Has functioned very well from the beginning. Fits perfectly into the built-in space of previous microwave. GE was very helpful to pick the proper microwave for the space. No negative experience.
