The glass touchpad was nearly impossible to operate, took taps, hits, presses - sometimes to no avail. Then after having it for 1 year and 4 months, quit working.

The fan functionality work great and it is really powerful. I added the charcoal filter that is not included but it’s easy to buy at Lowe’s and this helps very much for reducing the odors. I fully recommend this product

Hasn’t worked

But when we turned it on, it vibrated violently. A technician came out and said it was the motor. He ordered a new one but now have to wait to get it installed.

If the unit isn't vented to the outside, the air needs to be recirculated through a disposable charcoal filter that helps remove smoke and odors. We recommend reviewing the installation instructions. When we went to install it, the buttons for the fan and lights did not work as expected. The fan would start but would not stop.

Nothing works except fan on low. This hood lasted less than 2years. Definitely not worth the price.

When I plugged it in none of the controls responded and the Bluetooth did not even send a pairing signal. Per the instructions I unplugged and replugged the unit several times but it never responded. As it was GE I had not checked for customer reviews (there were none on Bestbuy.com at the time of my purchase). Now I did check other sites and found the unit had a high rate of DOA per other customers so I returned the unit for a refund. I am now looking for a different range hood.

Hate this product and would like it exchanged, or totally removed. Although it was purchased in February, due to Covid it was only installed the day before Thanksgiving. It has only turned on twice. Once to check it out and the second time to show the installer of the WRONG refrigerator.
