The clothes don’t take that long to get done and they feel dry to me. I’m not having any of the dampness problems others have mentioned. Overall the machine performs as it should and I’m loving it.

However, the cycles are extremely long and rarely dry well, leading to laundry taking all day just for a few loads. Its a great concept and hope the technology improves.

Dry clothes and wash clothes efficiently, works good with Amazon Alexa. Well, I like most about it is you don’t have to be at home to wash and dry your clothes.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think the gas powered machines are better at drying because i had to dry the load of clothing twice for every load i put in especially when they were towels or anything thick my baby cloths washed fine but in the same load his blankets werent dry when i called the company they said they will look at it and they ended up replacing it and it worked so great after that no more problems

Full disclosure, I started with a load bigger than I should have because it's a big hopper. So when it didn't dry at all I figured I had asked too much of it. So I took 75% of it out and tried timed dry. Literally gave it 12+ hours, still too wet to wear anything. I know it's heating up, because the top of the machine gets rather hot after so much time. I did checked that all the filters were clean. I have that 25% in there now, hoping I can get it close enough to try the remaining wet laundry still in the basket. I know it's supposed to feel a tiny bit moist when taking it out, but not to this degree. Also, the phone app is not good, the bluetooth disconnects often, and changing the wifi network it runs on is very difficult. Troubleshooting on the machine amounts to "Is the machine on". Don't get me started on the telemetry details I agreed to. Only did it because I thought there might be hidden features apart from the dashboard. You might have looked at the FAQ and saw a question about whether it has the autodispenser. Know that this FAQ is answered by users, and not BestBuy or the manufacturer. Don;t be fooled by the one person that said it does, becasue this model does not. I almost bought the pedestal, but adding it in doesn't say that the installers will include that. Turns out they will (at least the guys who delivered mine said that they would have ... they were the only good part of this experience so far). I'm very much in the mind to return this, but I'm going to due my full diligence and continue looking over the manual to see if I've missed something.

To ensure the best performance from the Combo, make sure the software is up to date using the SmartHQ app. For help with the drying concern, please follow the tips in the "Clothes take too long to dry" section on pg. 31 of the Owner's Manual. If this information doesn't prove helpful, we recommend scheduling a service appointment for one of our qualified technicians to assess your unit. You can schedule an appointment by calling us at: 1-800-432-2737.
The PFQ83HSSWWW only has a manual dispenser drawer. There is no Bulk Dispense / SmartDispense feature on the PFQ83HSSWWW. -Don@GEAppliances

Takes about 2 hours to wash/dry but no switching loads is nice and runs off of typical plug. I won't be going back to a traditional washer and dryer.

Although, I installed this myself in an area that had no prior laundry, hook up. I simply plugged it into a regular outlet, and tied the hot/cold water and drain into the sink next to it.
