While I am sure if I fiddled with my computer long enough I could have probably fixed it, I am glad that I went to best buy. I took in my computer (had crashed) and voila it was done. Plus it got cleaned out and I can now take in my older computers for a touch up. :)

I left my computer on the same day I purchased this. I had unknowingly let my earlier subscription expire. They were very nice about it and fixed me right up. I like being able to call or drop by and have them fix my problem. Good purchase.

Needed to upgrade my Dell computer. Was originally going to do it with a hard drive and the folks at The Geek Squad recommended a solid state drive instead. Quick turnaround and excellent service. Computer works like it was brand new.

The service provided by this Geek Squad is very good but nothing gets resolved quickly. Each time I have brought my computer in, it has to stay overnight to get fixed. Each time I have been there only one Geek Squad employee was on site so the wait is longer than expected.

A windows 10 update crashed my computer, they tried to restore, and reinstall and when that kept stalling at the same place, finally had to go back to windows 7. Kept me informed all the way thru. Wasn’t the desired end result , but they tried every fix and patch possible.

We always purchase Geek Squad for our computers. I am a computer idiot so I need all of the help that I can get. Geek Squad has helped me out several times and has fixed my computer that I messed up. Worth the investment.

I bought this service when I started to have a problem with my 3 month HP laptop. They got me straightened out and is being used to write this review. Renewal was about 1/2 price but did not include the virus protection.

Glad to have purchased protection plan as I had issues with my laptop on several occasions. The techs were good and made sure to go over the repairs that have been done and made sure that there were not any questions.

The appointment system they require is reasonable but my appointment time was not held (failed to start promptly, 40 minutes start delay). Good thing I was in a good mood, and I did get the results I wanted in the end. Try to pick a low demand appointment time.

My PC operating system had been corrupted making it inoperable. The Geek Squad fixed the problems and improved the overall operations. I purchased new anti-virus and network security software. Also, bought a 2 year service contract.

After a very excruciating two weeks I’ve been through three laptops that all had a faulty errors and I went to Best Buy. They set me up with what I needed and the geek squad has been my godsend ever since then. They truly are amazing

We got the support because we thought we were hacked-thus contacted our security. They set our minds and concerns at ease but also suggested the GEEK SQ to check if we had any bugs set on or system. Geeks checked all our devices (at no charge) how could we not sign up?

only reason I won't give this a 5 is because if you have purchased this on previous lap tops or computers, they can't tell you what item is covered, then you get notice to renew every year but can't figure out which products are covered, need to do something about this

I received extremely professional service. I was treated very courtesously and was listened to about what the problem was with my computer. I was offered several choices of service packs and my computer was serviced in a timely manner.

I have had other computer products with geek squad coverage and to my family it has been worth its weight in gold. We have never had a problem they could not fix and it gives us peace of mind knowing they are just a few clicks away.

I wasn't ready to buy a new laptop but unfortunately I had to. I am so glad I chose this one. The reviews were right. It is so much faster than my previous one and now that I've had it for 4 months I can say I'm glad I purchased this one.

We have had the Geek Squad 24/7 support for several years and find the investment is well worth the cost. We can obtain technical assistance in-store or online. We value the expertise of the Geek Squad employees.

With the help of the experts, I was able to use my new PC that had driver problems related to a quick power out. There was no hardware issues at the time. They got my corrupt files back to new and cleaned up any items not necessary.

Initially it wouldn't recognize my monitor. They worked on it a couple of times before it was fixed. The wait is sometimes 1 hour, though, which is kind of long. But I liked their service enough, I went back and exchanged my 1-year for a 3-year service package.

I highly recommend the subscription Geek Squad service. 3 computers are included (and I didn't have to commit to which ones that day). The virus software is great too... not like the McAfee stuff that seems to need attention constantly.
