I purchased a refurbished this for my dad as an upgrade from his aging 2015 MacBook Pro. I wanted to get him a high-quality display, great speakers, and a more comfortable keyboard without spending a fortune. I was initially a bit skeptical about buying a refurbished model, but this unit arrived in cosmetically pristine condition with 98% battery capacity—practically like new! Setting it up, I was seriously impressed by how fast and capable the M1 Pro still is. It holds up incredibly well and feels just as premium as newer models. Wanted to write this review for people who are worried about buying refurbished from Bestbuy. To be honest I was quite worried from horror stories I read online. It arrived in an unmarked box, wrapped in heavy bubble packing like others stated. Overall besides some slight blemishes that I had to find with a flash light, the laptop looks pretty much brand new. One thing, it didn't come with the original charging brick, It came with this one (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-140w-dual-port-usb-c-compact-wall-charger-kit-for-macbook-pro-16-smartphone-and-tablet-white/6508457.p?skuId=6508457) which isn't that big of an issue. It came with the original magsafe cord which is the important part. It had 150 battery cycle count, with 95% max capacity. Overall I'm very satisfied. I feel like this is the best value option right now with current pricing. I was between this or the M3 pro new, but I'm happy I took the risked and saved $800+. This M1 pro is perfect for my workload.

I definitely lucked out, this MacBook Pro arrived in like new condition. Just one small scratch on the outside. Keyboard is like new, screen is like new, and battery health is at 95% and 125 charge cycles. Warranty is expired of course but I've been putting it through its paces and it works really well and is very fast. I have the newer version of this for work so I knew I'd like it. As expected, I got a MagSafe 3 cable and genuine Apple USB-C charger block. Definitely happy, but be sure to inspect your refurbished computer carefully. I ordered another one and it was very worn out with 85% battery health, shiny well used keyboard etc. The total opposite of this one.

Great value- future proof. Runs well- cloud gaming a little laggy but good. Love the fact it has an HDMI port. Quick charging. Great ecosystem- can use iPad as second display as well with no connectors. Beautiful display

My 2014 MBP bricked itself recently and my budget didn’t include a $2,000+ expenditure for new hardware. Fortunately after doing some research, I realized an M1 Pro powered MBP would do everything I need. Even better that I found one for under $1K at Best Buy! Buying refurbed always makes me a little nervous but the unit I got is in AMAZING condition! The body is in fantastic like-new shape, the screen is clean and scratch free, keyboard looks like it hasn’t even been used, and the system is working flawlessly. I got through setup and all of my old apps plus some new ones installed in about 30 minutes. Also, mine came with an original Apple charger. I am extremely impressed and will absolutely consider buying BB Geeksquad refurbs for my next tech purchase.

Everything seems to be in working condition. Battery health is 88% which to me is not that bad. Came with little to no cosmetic damage on the outside which i was very pleased with and the hardware itself is workig flawlessly. It did arrive a day late but i think that was due to the shipping handlers and nit best buy itself. In other words I am very satisified with this purchase and would reccomend. I was very hesitant to purchase after reading the reviews but I can honestly tell you its worth it.

The laptop cam with a nice braided MagSafe cable and a 96W power adapter. The battery capacity was at 100% and the MacBook honestly looked flawless and brand new. Don’t let the year fool you, the M1 Pro chip is still a beast that outperforms most laptops even the MacBook airs.

I never write reviews, ever; but I have to write one for this. I have to say, after reading all the negative reviews… I thought I was taking a real risk by buying this. I wasn’t concerned whether it came with some light scratches or dings around the edges. Let me tell ya, WORTH the risk. Looks absolutely brand new. Absolutely ZERO damage. Not even one faint little scratch. Battery health/maximum capacity is at 98% with only 70 charge cycles. This thing literally looks brand new. Well worth the “risk”

It has exactly what I was looking for in a MacBook Pro for work in terms of size, chip, RAM and SSD; plus 95% battery health. Even though the description mentioned that the power adapter might not be an original Apple adapter, mine was. Scratches are so few and so small they're not visible (and even less visible with a protective case). Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

After reading reviews on Geek Squad Refurbished, I was skeptical. However, my experience so far has been excellent. My MacBook Pro M1 Pro arrived in near perfect condition with only one small ding on the bottom that you have to look for. Battery only had 40 cycles. In my opinion it is worth the risk and since you have 15 days to return it to a store, I thought the risk was minimal.

I wasn't sure which M series Mac option to get. I was coming from a 2013 13" Macbook pro with an Intel i5 processor. I knew I needed an HDMI port and SD card slot since I relied on those ports regularly for work. Using a dongle wasn't for me. I ended up staying in the pro line and went with this geek squad refurbished 14" MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro Processor. Once I did my research and saw the M1 Pro was more than plenty for what I needed for work as I don't need the extra GPU as I'm not doing any thing video or graphics intensive. When it arrived, it had less then 15 power cycles and the condition was mint besides two noticable dings on keyboard chassis. The outer lid and display were brand new. No visible wear or scratches. I've bought Open Box before from Best Buy but with refurbished I was a bit hesitant. At the price of $1232 being a steal, I bit since I could always return it if it wasn't in good enough condition. Considering this is a 2021 laptop, the condition I received it in was beyond expectations. I only knew the laptop was used because the power brick/charger was heavily scratched up and the keyboard dings (see laptop photos). But the laptop was new to my eyes from the outside as well as the display. I would easily buy Geek Squad Refurbished again considering the way it was packaged and cleaned. Plus I saved a ton of money considering this equivalent M3 Pro model goes for $1999 which was way more than I would want to spend or need.

Looks brand new, not a sign of use. Functions very well and battery life is good. Never been dissatisfied with buying refurbished products from here.

Great product came basically brand new with a new battery 100% capacity, no scratches or dents it came in an Apple box with original charger, it runs like a pro no issues

I’ll be honest and sound like every other review here, i was skpetical to get the refurbished macbook at first but i took the chance and bit the bullet and i couldn’t be more happy. Paid for 2 day shipping and came on time. And when i opened it… wow! It is seriously gorgeous and for the price it felt like a great deal. It came with only 1 visible marking or scratch if you could call it that, but other than that it is physically almost perfect! It runs so fun and is definitely a huge upgrade from my 2012 macbook pro. Extremely satisfied. Another thing is that it did NOT come with an apple charger but for me i don’t really care as long as the charger works (which the one they provide does). So yes i would recommend this purchase to the next person who wants to purchase !

I recently bought the MacBook Pro 14” M1 Pro from Best Buy. The experience was smooth, and the laptop has been performing great with no issues. The speed, performance, and battery life are excellent—definitely a solid purchase.

Best surprise was that it had 10 months left of AppleCare+ on it. Battery was still performant, came with less than 100 cycles on it. A little dirty, but no scratches anywhere on the screen or case. Seemingly a solid find! I did a trade-in, which has not started processing yet...and slightly concerning because the order is just stuck after almost 2 weeks. The order page just says "Hold on to your trade-in item for now. We'll let you know when we're ready for you to mail it to us."

Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase. The entire MacBook Pro including the screen was in flawless condition and the battery only had 44 cycles with a 93% maximum charging capacity.

My unit seems to be in great shape with only 7 battery cycles. I am only taking away a star because I was sent the wrong charger cable as it says USB-C to Magsafe but I got a USB-C to USB-C cable.
