I got this service with a package deal. I had a huge 47" TV (box was huge), new surround sound system, Blue-ray player and cable TV hook-up waiting for them when they arrived. They had it all unpacked, wired, adjusted and ready to go in about an hour. I was amazed. At first I thought, who would pay for this, but it was well worth it. With all those new components, it would have taken me a lot longer and lots of swearing. Plus, they even took away my old tube TV for recycling and cleaned up all the boxes and packing materials. Highly recommend this service!

Rick called ahead to let me know where he was coming from and how long it would take to reach my house. I didn't have to wait around wondering when he would get here. He explained everything he was doing, demonstrated how to use our equipment and patiently waited while I wrote down instructions so I wouldn't forget what he had just told me :) Thanks, Rick!

I hired the Geek Squad to set up my flat screen TV. The price seemed reasonable. I probably could have done this my self but it would have taken me 3 to 4 times as long. The installer came on time. Was quick and everything was set up properly. He gave me a tutorial on how to use the remotes. One of the best decisions I have made - to hire the Geek Squad

Unfortunately I was not present when the set up took place (my wife was present). The set up geek did not have a cable which he said we were missing so the system was not completely set up. My wife asked him to write down the name of the cable we needed. It turned out not to be the correct cable which I ended up buying and returning because it was not the right one. He punched a whole in the back of my cabinet and left the mess in the cabinet and on the floor. This was my first and last experience with this company.

I was very impressed with the technician that setup our system. He had a lot of stuff to do on his trip to our house but he was very professional and efficient at doing his job. He spent time with my wife and me going over everything he installed and making sure everything was setup just like we wanted. If I ever buy another system for another room I'll certainly have the Geek Squad come out and set it up again.

The gentleman was very professional. He called early in the morning to let me know what time he would arrive, and right-on-time, he was. (I was very delighted about this!) In 2 hours, he had all 5 of my components hooked up and rolling. He walked me through a few great features. I forgot one digital sound cord, but no worries, he had that, too.

The tv/home theater set up was great..the guys knew exactly what to do. Going thru the 800 number to get the setup was a nite mare....they couldn't find my order and offered nothing other than they were sorry and call back tomorrow maybe. I had my order number in hand and they still couldn't find it. I called customer care with Best Buy and they stayed on the line with me and Geek Squad until installation was finally set up. I think they have a few issues with the computer system at Geek Squad. We are very happy with the TV and installation...sorry we had to work so hard to get it. I would reccommend this to a friend..but caution them to stay on top of things and take notes.

Both the purchase with online staff and the service from the Geek Squad were truly pleasurable experience. It has been a long time since I experienced such kind and professional staff. Job Well Done....Best Buy.

what's great about it? it's a excellent set up for a low price. and plus the geek squad do a very good job on installment. how could you go wrong with a geek installing it. i will let them install all my investment in the future with a peace of mind. thank's geek squad for everything peace. what's not so great? nothing

Geek Squad knows what they are doing and they do it fast. I just stood back and they quickly installed the TV and dressed the wires. They worked with my schedule and were on time. I have a poor knowledge of TV and other components and they explained how to use everything with simple instructions.

I don't want to set up one more technical item. Thank God for the Geek Squad. The two that set up my hdtv & home theater were friendly and quick. Highly recommend them.

I paid to have two guys plug in my components. That's it. So unless you are completely clueless, there is absolutely no value to the customer. I had to be at the house either way, so I missed a day's work ~ I should've done it myself. They did not label any wires or neatly bind them. They just left a pile of unidentified wires behind the components.

I called on 11/13 to confirm set up for that day. Customer Service stated no record of appointment and would call back later that day to arrange another time. The customer service rep never called me back. I paid for a service that I did not receive. I would never use this service again.

I paid $179 for the Geek Squad setup (had a $20 discount coupon) and the guy was there maybe 30 minutes. He kept texting and fooling with his phone, setting up his next appointment. Tried to sell me a $250 remote to operate all the components and was only going to charge $50 to program it! Come on, you spend almost $3000 for a 50" plasma, home theater with receiver and blue-ray and then want me to buy a $300 remote?? This was not worth it.

WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE GEEK SQUAD. THEY WERE TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL, NICE AND EXCELLENT IN WHAT THEY DID

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! The technicians that came out to the house failed to set up all pre-existing components to maxamize the surround sound capabilities of my new receiver.

Geek Squad never called to set up an appointment and after several calls to set up appointment we decided to cancel the service.
