Loved It!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The graphics, the sounds, the imagery, the sword fights...I could go on and on but loved everything about this game! I love single player campaigns and the richness, variety and challenge kept me coming back for more. Yes, some of the fighting can get a bit tedious as it is repetitive during side missions but now that I've completed it I already miss it. It's time consuming if you want to do the main mission and all of the side missions but totally worth it for me!

Story driven, Free roam, Beautiful scenery
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game. The only thing I can't stand is not being able to skip cinematics. If you die and have to re-enter the scenario, you have to watch it all over again. And if you aim for the platinum, that's a lot of cut-scenes you can't skip. I love the story and the cut scenes but seeing it once is enough. I don't know if there were any patches to add this function ever since then, but when I finished and platinum it, it was really annoying for me. Other than that, it's a very great game.

Ghost of Tsushima Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gameplay: The controls are difficult to grasp because of a learning curve with the fighting mechanics. Samurai games are new to me, so I had to learning the fighting style and how to be good at it. You will not be an expert out of the gate, you will need to fail here and there to learn The world: he graphics are stunning. All the environments in the world have unique characteristics and are all present beautifully. There has been instances where I simply stop and look at a beautiful view. The world has many side quests to embark on and places to explore. These are positive things for the game, but my favorite aspect is that you can easily fast travel to all map locations (not just towns and villages) Story: last samurai standing on an island being controlled by the enemy. Great story, with a main character that shows slow development into a different person. Length: it’s a long game with a big world. If you’ve played assassins creed, it’s like that but a little smaller and shorter because ghost doesn’t have hierarchy of unknown members to find. I loved this game, I’d give it 5 stars but because the open world concept has been so overused it didn’t provide anything totally different aside from location, time era, and samurais. If you like open worlds, this is a good one.

A great swan song for the PS4
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this during an early black friday sale. I knew very little of the game going in apart from its reputation and I'm glad I went in blind. Hands down the most impressive part of the game are the visuals and stunning landscapes, I can only imagine how the PS5 version enhances the experience. Combat has a decent ammount of variety and fun challenge. There can be some frustrations during certain boss scenarios but nothing that ruins the experience. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best games in a while!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is probably one of my favorite games to come out in a good while. The graphics and visuals are stunning. The story is immersive and sometimes heartbreaking. There is definitely a reason this game was one of the nominees for game of the year, because it is a great piece of work that is not to be missed. Sucker Punch, the makers of the Infamous games, really did create a fantastic game, and I hope there will be more entries to this world in the future. Do yourself a favor and pick up this game, you won't be disappointed!

Final ps4 exclusive
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony has knocked it out of the park with the ps4 this generation and Ghosts of Tsushima ends it on a high note. Generally when I do these reviews for games I make the quick and to the point and with this game it's easy, graphics= astounding especially on a ps4 pro abd 4k tv, gameplay= A+. Could talk alot about the gameplay but I'll make it short the games combat system is very tight and the battles are very fast, you learn new skills as you progress and that opens the game even more. Games like this are why I am so hyped for the ps5... Sony always delivers.

Amazing game, if slightly repetitive
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game is probably the most polished and finely tuned stealth-action open world game. I enjoyed blazing through the story and most of the side quests, even if the set up for each of the missions did get a little repetitive each time (Talk to someone, ride horse, fight some enemies, talk again, onto the next quest). Still a great game and definitely a buy

Awesome samurai video game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I made this full price purchase to support sucker punch for making a game this awesome without micro transactions. What really sold it for me was hearing them announce a free multiplayer mode and I knew then and there, this company deserves to be praised and rewarded. I cannot remember the last time I had a AAA game that didn't come with micro transactions and expansions and fees eternally compounding just to play the product. Also the graphics for the game were top notch with great storyline. I am only an hour in but it has been absolutely phenomenal.

Absolutely Perfect!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a joy to play! The world is gorgeous and the combat is fairly intuitive. It feels a little like Assassin's Creed in some areas and that's cool but overall, this game is it's own. The characters that the player meets and interacts with are pretty deep, the storytelling is top notch, and the graphics are perfect. The ability to customize the experience at the very beginning for different aesthetics is a great idea; playing this game in Kurosawa mode is such a cool idea! Literally playing in a reactive movie! Would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful World & Journey; An Essential PS4 Title
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An impressive amount of attention to detail and thought went into this game, and it makes for an experience that shouldn't be missed. Fans of open world games will find some familiar mechanics and design elements from such franchises as The Witcher, Assassins Creed, Far Cry, and Red Dead, but Sucker Punch manages to make this game uniquely their own. It helps that samurai is subject matter that is not overdone. Ghost of Tsushima will make a great addition to any PS4 collection and will be remembered as a must play for years to come.

TRULY THE ONE TO GET
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The one game comparable to God of War and The Last of Us combined. Incredible graphics, vivid landscapes in a truly open world map where the leaves literally blow in the wind. The learning curve is no more challenging than any other game of this style, only more fun as you grow while performing your tasks. Mature and serious action, not for those looking for corny fantasy violence. Ghost is truly the one that snuck in and continues to surprise every time I pick up the controller.

Fun open world game, same combat after a while
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks amazing, fun open world game, but there is a lot to do and never finished it. Spent a ton of time on the first section and when the second opened up, lost interest. Once you get the hang of combat and upgrades at the beginning, there isn't a lot that changes the next 50 hours
