Amazing camera

The unit comes in two parts, base & camera. No need to hardwire because the camera hooks up to the base via heavy duty magnet so you can remove to charge via USB cord (included).

I can only image the benefit of a 4k version of this with a higher frame rate of recording. That would really be great!
