But I had to upgrade to a 3-pack in order to get decent service at the far end of a 2200 sq ft house! That’s so much less than advertised.

Congestion issues may be affected by various factors, including Wi-Fi interference and physical barriers, which can limit the range and cause a slower connection to the internet. We recommend placing your device within a line of sight to improve signal reception. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, it's advisable not to place a mesh router in that exact spot. Instead, position it halfway in that direction. If you want something super simple to get you decent Wi-Fi coverage for larger homes, you’ll probably be okay with these. However, you have to set these up using the Google Home app. Again, if you’re already in the Google ecosystem, that might not be a big deal, but I’m really, really not a fan of the trend that seems to be manufacturers forcing router configuration to be handled on a phone app. The apps are designed for simplicity, not rich features with advanced (not even that advanced) options. I’d like this system a lot more if I could have more control over things like forcing Ethernet backhaul, disabling or splitting wireless bands, DHCP reservations, etc. Overall, it’s fine - but it’s not lightning fast and it’s not very customizable.

Had some range issues but over all once i worked out to place the unit a little further from my Laptop it worked better.,
