Perfect if you are looking to reboot your network on a weekly basis... I started with the OG nest, had 3 and was having performance issues with many devices. After trying to troubleshoot this with Google many times it seemed that this upgrade would solve those problems... end result is the same. 1. devices randomly lose connection and will not reconnect unless I reboot my entire network... 1. speeds tend to drop out all of a sudden and for random devices. again, typically only solved by rebooting the entire network... 1. Google support is less than helpful

And now too late I can’t return them because we were trying to figure out why they weren’t working. Probably is if you move from room to room on a WiFi device they sometimes disconnect - not good at passing off to the next nest. Also, working remotely at desk that isn’t moving would lag multiple times a day (hardly ever happened with the gen1 nest. So moved back to the gen1 next and surprise the outside camera still work and I’m stuck with these since I missed the return timeframe. Totally unhappy with this purchase!

We understand that upgrading to the new Nest Wifi Pro can be challenging. However, we recommend trying out some helpful steps below that may be able to help you with your concern:
- Remove any wired backhaul connection you have with your Nest Wifi Pro devices.
- Remove any wired accessory devices connected to your Nest WiFi Pro devices, like printers, storage devices, etc.
- If only a few devices aren't working, try restarting your Wi-Fi devices that are disconnected. Depending on the device, a restart might be required to connect.
- If you're planning to recreate a new Wi-Fi 6E network using Nest Wifi Pro in your existing home structure in the Google Home app, it's important to factory reset your old Wi-Fi 5 network using the app to remove the existing Wi-Fi network. Then you can set up a Nest Wifi Pro network.

I do wish they had some advanced options or better ways to troubleshoot issues. But the issue is your connection with these will get slower and slower and the only way to fix this is to reboot the entire network, daily!! Search the internet, this is a known issue that Google is not fixing. When they work, they are great, but it's only for a short period of time.

Posted .Hi there, IanG. Sorry to hear you're running into slower speeds on the Nest Wifi Pro. Your connection performance may be affected by several factors — here are some suggestions to help improve it:
1. Your device is far from your Wifi router: often moving your device closer to your router or point will result in improved speeds.
2. Building materials and other objects may slow your connection: if possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your router or point.
3. Some devices do not support the faster Wi-Fi standards: speed is dependent on both the router or point and the device that is connected to it. If you have an older device, it’s likely it won’t support the latest standards for the fastest speeds.

One room of our 3300sf house doesn't get very good connection, we thought might because the ORBI is aging. Got this set, which suppose to cover bigger area, but no, the wifi seems even weaker. Every now and then had to reboot. Not as good as ORBI in MHO.
