This was actually the second Wifi 6E router I purchased. I ended up returning the first one because there were just too many issues. The Nest Wifi Pro 6E lacks some of the bells and whistles of the first router, and it's not quite as fast, but it just works. Zero down time so far, and no dropped connections.

Not plug and play depending on your modern situation. Needs some research and tinkering with modem settings with att fiber internet. Some devices have been randomly dropping temporarily. Not enough details and customization present in google interface.

Great product. Great GUI to view the gateway and access points in the mesh network, along with the devices connected and their frequency. I’d recommend it. It syncs perfect with the Nest Thermostat and has it all in the same app/GUI.

So angry that I upgraded to these from the generation 1 next but was told I had to so outside camera’s would work - WRONG!!! And now too late I can’t return them because we were trying to figure out why they weren’t working. Probably is if you move from room to room on a WiFi device they sometimes disconnect - not good at passing off to the next nest. Also, working remotely at desk that isn’t moving would lag multiple times a day (hardly ever happened with the gen1 nest. So moved back to the gen1 next and surprise the outside camera still work and I’m stuck with these since I missed the return timeframe. Totally unhappy with this purchase!

We understand that upgrading to the new Nest Wifi Pro can be challenging. However, we recommend trying out some helpful steps below that may be able to help you with your concern: - Remove any wired backhaul connection you have with your Nest Wifi Pro devices. - Remove any wired accessory devices connected to your Nest WiFi Pro devices, like printers, storage devices, etc. - If only a few devices aren't working, try restarting your Wi-Fi devices that are disconnected. Depending on the device, a restart might be required to connect. - If you're planning to recreate a new Wi-Fi 6E network using Nest Wifi Pro in your existing home structure in the Google Home app, it's important to factory reset your old Wi-Fi 5 network using the app to remove the existing Wi-Fi network. Then you can set up a Nest Wifi Pro network.
