Great Wi-Fi

Old house wasnt wired for internet in all rooms. Used for 2 rooms down from the modem. Gets 370-420mb on a 500mb plan. Can game, stream, watch youtube in 4k and use discord all at once.

I did have issue with the 3rd one trying to connect to the mesh. It took a while but it eventually worked. The 2nd one conntected right away and I ahve them all hard wired in as well

Highly recommend to use this if you have a large home. I put one on the top, middle, and the basement floor.

It won't stay connected to the modem, the satellite extenders do not stay connected to the router nor do they extend the range. I have a satellite in the garage, it's probably 25 feet away from the router and it can't stay connected and everything that I count on to be connected are constantly off line. These things aren't cheap and it's maddening that I'm going to have to purchase something else. Pure crap.

Great aesthetic and performance

All of my google smart home devices are a lot snappier in response time. My download speeds have never been faster. Great product. Get 3 if your place is bigger than 1500 sq ft.

I Contacted Google and they do not have a solution for this issue as it occurs daily. Even after resetting the entire system everyday

Range doesn't seem to be as good as the original 1st gen Google Wifi that I replaced. But once I figured out where to put each router and not go offline, the internet seemed fine. Debatable whether this was an upgrade over my original 1st gen Google Wifi. More tech savvy customers will probably not choose this.

Arnoldo of the sales team suggested the Arris modem with the Google Nest router system. And, Kyle came to the house to set it up and explain its workings.

Should be called the google mess to be honest. When it works it’s great but emphasis on when it works. I will say setup is a breeze and its range is great when it’s working but if you work from home I would stay away from it. Satellite's are constantly dropping signal and today I said screw it and going back to netgear.

By switching to the Google nest system the WIFI speed in our house is almost as fast as the wired speed in my office. I wish I would have done this earlier.

I had a lot of problems with the setup. It turned out to be an issue I had with the application on my phone. Tech support could not help me. I was able to correct it by using another phone. I got the idea from a search online.

We recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested, which may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. These few steps can help:
- You can try restarting your router to reset your internet connection.
- If you have a lot of open apps on your phone, they can slow down its overall performance. Try closing some apps.
- If that doesn’t work, you can try restarting your phone or device.
- Other devices in your home may be using a lot of bandwidth. You can temporarily stop a device’s bandwidth use by quitting an app or program, disconnecting it from Wi-Fi or ethernet, or by turning it off.

Only complaint is admin panel/eth bottleneck

Pros: easy to setup and manage for basic settings and IP reservations. Able to monitor outside network. Cons: can only edit and change settings from google home app. Cannot change any settings on default gateway and makes DNS settings hard to change. No ability to set a VPN for entire network but wouldnt recommend that anyways.
