Internet - great connection

Yes, they allegedly have 6E wi-fi capability but these are only useful at all if you have less than 1 gig internet. Unlike similar priced mesh systems that have 2.5 gig lan ports (or 5gig for a little more money) these have an outdated 1 gig port. So no matter how fast your internet is, the best you can hope for is around 800mbps. Using the TP Deco I am now getting 1.5 to 2.0 gbps at my PC.

Spent about four hours trying to get them to talk and didn’t work at all. Going to stick with the old Nest Wi-Fi stuff.

The placement of your Wi-Fi router and points is vital to have reliable Wi-Fi throughout your home. Points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf. You can also give these steps a try to see if the connectivity will improve:
- Move the connected device closer to your Wifi router or point.
- Repositioning the points to avoid obstructions like walls, doors, and aquariums can improve performance.
- Make sure all unused devices are off and not draining bandwidth with large downloads.
- Check for possible sources of interference such as microwave ovens, refrigerators or other equipment.
- Run a mesh test to confirm placement of your Wifi points.

Its my fault for assuming that a device advertising mutli gigabit wifi would be able to connect to a multi gigabit wan but thats not the case for this. Google saw fit to only have gigabit Ethernet ports. Do yourself a favor and pass on this product, conplete waste of time and money.

Do not buy. Needs daily reboot or will slow down

It works well for a couple days and then the speed slows waaaaaaaay down. The only way to fix is by rebooting the router. But this router doesn't have a built in way to schedule a reboot. Search on Google and you'll find plenty of people having this exact same issue. I've been unable to find a solution and cannot return the product. For $300 you should purchase another router
