I switched from a battery ring doorbell 4 to the nest doorbell and the quality of the video feed and response time is so much better! I am now converting my whole home from Ring to Nest.

We can see and hear anyone on our front porch very clearly. Safety is important to us, and having this product in our home provides that security. I highly recommend this product!

It connects with my google account and it works great! Got a camera for the back too. Works like a charm and I feel safer for sure.

Love the Nest Doorbell

The instructions are easy to follow. The picture quality is excellent. I like knowing when my packages are dropped. It also alerts you when they are removed.

And to answer your question, is the first Nest doorbell that can be installed wire-free using a built-in rechargeable battery or hard-wired for continuous charging. We recommend checking the power source since Nest Doorbell (Battery) requires 8–24 V AC, 10V A power source rating to charge the battery properly. It's important to note that the battery charge time can be influenced by various factors, including ambient temperature and the current state of the battery. Please be aware that the battery will not charge in temperatures below 32°F (0°C) and may charge slowly when close to freezing temperatures. On average, it takes approximately five hours to fully charge the Nest Doorbell (battery) using a compatible 7.5W AC adapter.
Furthermore, the Nest Doorbell (battery) app will provide you with an estimated battery life approximately 48 hours after each charging cycle. As time progresses, your doorbell will adapt and refine its battery life estimate to enhance accuracy. Initially, if there's a substantial amount of recorded activity, the estimation may be relatively low. However, as activity decreases over time, the battery life estimation will improve.

Camera Ai not accurate.

Despite saving the facial data of my acquaintances, the camera consistently fails to accurately identify individuals at my doorstep. This issue has occurred on 12 separate occasions, leading me to question the value proposition of the subscription. Furthermore, I have discovered a significant concern regarding account security protocols. When sharing a Google Home account and granting access to another individual, it appears that they gain full access to the associated email account. I believe this warrants attention to ensure the security and privacy of users.

When adding people to your Google Home account there are different levels of access that you provide them, with none being able to access your personal email.
