Not as good as wired best doorbell.

Live view does not open when the camera is selected in the home app. You have to select live. So two taps to see a live view. Older nest wired camera went directly to live view.

Google has not figured what the original had already mastered. Why would you sell a camera without 24/7 recording capabilities? It only does event recording and 9 out of 10 times only gets part of the event. Don't waste your money. Wait for Nest to release their second generation in spring 2022.

Your doorbell could be detecting a lot of activities, as the battery life depends on factors including activity, temperature, and doorbell settings that you select. Try to adjust the settings like the video quality, length of video clips, time between recorded events, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas so you can extend its battery life.
