The video quality is OK but it always seems to start recording just a little too late and stop a little too early. I'm holding out hope the Google fixes thing with future software.

- Check the Wi-Fi connection
- Check if there’s any interference
- Restart doorbell
- Try disabling any network extenders
- Turn off other devices connected to Wi-Fi

Not as advertised. Batteries don't last.

The first one died by April 2024, I'm sure the second one will soon. Neither will retain battery power, have to charge them every 3 days or so, for 5-6 hours each time. They can't really help protect you when they go offline half the day or need to be stuck on a charger.

Live view does not open when the camera is selected in the home app. You have to select live. So two taps to see a live view. Older nest wired camera went directly to live view.

Google has not figured what the original had already mastered. Why would you sell a camera without 24/7 recording capabilities? It only does event recording and 9 out of 10 times only gets part of the event. Don't waste your money. Wait for Nest to release their second generation in spring 2022.
