Great if you can get past the setup

Neother of them woulsnscan the QR code to set them up. I finally managed tonget one pair set up at ome home, and the other wouldn't set up at all. As Best Buy Total, I thought they would be able to come and set it up, but they wantes $150ish to so it. No thank you. And I am beyond the return period, but they said I could bring it in for warranty work. This is where the eye roll emoji comes in, but you can't insert an emoji on a review.

I do wish they had some advanced options or better ways to troubleshoot issues. But the issue is your connection with these will get slower and slower and the only way to fix this is to reboot the entire network, daily!! Search the internet, this is a known issue that Google is not fixing. When they work, they are great, but it's only for a short period of time.

1. Your device is far from your Wifi router: often moving your device closer to your router or point will result in improved speeds.
2. Building materials and other objects may slow your connection: if possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your router or point.
3. Some devices do not support the faster Wi-Fi standards: speed is dependent on both the router or point and the device that is connected to it. If you have an older device, it’s likely it won’t support the latest standards for the fastest speeds.

Impressive Product, excluding advanced setups

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking forward to using these devices and entering the Wi-Fi 6 ecosystem, but if you are using anything more advanced than just a modem, they will not work. These devices cannot work if they are within another network (in AP mode), as all the selling point features are reliant on them being the router. Unfortunately, I had to find this out the hard way when trying to add another AP and encountered errors with no apparent cause. However, if you have a simple network (like 99% of consumers have), this product will work great for you.

It seems to work well but our farthest point it’s not as strong as we would like it to be.

Although the Nest Wifi Pro is expected to provide fast reliable coverage, its performance can be affected if there are potential sources of interference, either physical interference (thickness and type of walls, mirrors, windows, etc.) and competing signals (other wireless devices, baby monitors, microwaves, etc.). If you're experiencing a spotty connection or weak signal, we recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested. This may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. Ideally, one Nest Wifi Pro can cover up to 2,200 sqft. But where they are placed, the layout of your house, and physical obstructions like furniture can impact the total coverage and speed. Easy setup and works as intended

So far I have had it for ~2 months and it has been rock solid. One SSID as the default for all wifi bands. Ethernet back-haul appears to be working as intended. Generally very satisfied with the purchase

We have a google home and had a great deal of issues with our router. So we upgraded the router and bought the 3 pack of these google nest mesh routers . We live in a town home with 3 different levels and this has done the trick, no more problems with streaming on multiple devices!

I did have to play with it a bit to get the mesh coverage to properly overlap. They seem solid once everything is setup.

However, I was excited to try these routers as they promised 6E speeds (I had 5), better connection, and thread built-in. The problems started right at setup. They would not set up at all. I powered down my modem, my switch, reset my phone network settings nothing worked. After calling customer support they were nice but did not solve the issue, I tried my wife's phone and it worked. After finally getting everything setup they are not stable. My home kit devices (some are thread) work occasionally, phones barely work. It is just not what I expect. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a more stable product.
