Individual routers connected seamlessly and the signal on my third floor performs 10x better now! Can actually game online again. So happy with the purchase.

I returned and purchased eero 6+ for the exact same price. H give the eero 5 stars. They are faster and just easy to setup.

Bought this mesh system in July and after 4 months, I started to experience constant high latency, and random packet loss. Sometimes the ping can be as high as 2000ms (when connecting directly through the ethernet from modem, I get consistent <8ms latency, but if I connect with the router, even directly through ethernet, I got random super high latency). I was not able to even finish a sentence in video calls. Very disappointed with this router. It’s 2023 and a $200+ router is not even as reliable as a $20 cheap one 15 years ago. I took the unit to Best Buy and they refused to give refund or replacement and redirected to Google customer service. Then I talked at least 10 hours back and forth with Google customer support to go through trouble shooting and they still refused to think it’s a defect unit and won’t give me a refund or replacement. In the mean time I bought another router and it worked perfectly fine. Not worth the money, time and effort on this Google router at all.

Much improvement over the Nest Wi-Fi. More stable, better coverage, self-aware allows it to troubleshoot and fix network issues itself. Very happy woth the upgrade and highly recommended.

Internet speed decreased from my original speed. Coverage was more but speed decreased. Overall it was not worth my situation as I wanted to increase internet speed for specific locations like the basement and near the garage.
