I love my Session for mountain biking! It's so lightweight that I can wear it on my helmet without noticing it is even there (as opposed to the Hero3) or mount it on my handlebars. It takes great video and the one-push record makes it so easy to start either prior to moving or when I'm coming up on an obstacle I want to record.

The GoPro Hero offers very good video quality for the money, and the integrated housing is waterproof to 131 feet compared to Sony's. Has a built in WiFi. The downside the battery is built-in; it doesn't have GoPro's port for adding a touchscreen.

I love how compact this is, and the fact that I can't really tell I'm wearing it. It is super easy to start recording with the single button fuctionality. A few things that I do have issue with is that the camera would just stop recording even though I hadn't pushed the button to stop it and there was plenty of battery/memory left on the camera/card. Could be that I need to update the camera with the latest firmware but I'm not positive. The other issue was that the video was a bit shaky at times almost like its lagging, not sure if thats just because the card can't keep up with it or if its the camera itself, but I was using a 64GB Sandisk Extreme Plus as suggested by GoPro.

I bought this and so far love it. It captures great space being so minimal in size. It can literally be taken everywhere. The only issue aside from the camera is the syncing to the phone app for go pro. Sometimes it's quick sometimes it isn't. But over all great quality pictures and easy to use.

Loving every minute of MY Session. The only problem I have is wind noise. Both on Cannibal at Lagoon Amusement Park, and on my (Daughters) motorcycle. But the video rocks. Wish I knew more about the GoPro editing software, as I am using the Windows version of video editing software. Time to pull up a YouTube video. My GoPro Hero 4 Silver was a nightmare to operate, not the Session. One button and even old folk like me can produce high quality video.

I love how small this camera is. I wish it was 4K but images are darn good. I keep wanting to think of different ways to use it. You can place it almost anywhere. I have mounted in my car, on the side of the car and even on the hood. Lots of fun.

Great camera and quality. Records up to 1440p. Has a burst photo option and if you use light records fine at night. Waterproof as is was a huge factor in my decision. Use it for commuting on my bike. Just make sure to use a SanDisk extreme micro memory card.

    Does What it Says

This does what it says it will do. I avoided buying the various GoPros over the years because they are one trick ponies: they shoot pov action video. The session at $200 met a price point that made sense. It doesn't shoot 4K or the super slow motion like the 4 Sliver or Black, but is hundreds of dollars cheaper and the 1080 and 120 fps is old enough for advanced amatures or even pros. I wanted it for skiing and mt biking and some water sports, canoeing. I've used it for skiing. You need the pole, wrist and chest mounts to really take advantage of the Session, and GoPro nicks you pretty good for these items. With these you can capture some fun stuff, but there is a lot of garbage so to make it watchable you need to use the GoPro editing software which is a time suck. But that is pretty easy. Go to the GoPro site and look at the how to videos and you will see the effort necessary to set up shots, and you can imagine the editing necessary. The support for the editing software is phenomenal. Email a question and you get a thorough reply within 24 hours.

Let me start off by saying, The size of this camera will wow you!, Its pretty darn small, Also, wow can go pro make a camera, it has amazing video quality. Its waterproof without any case, (which is why i sold my go pro hero 4) i just thought it was too much to carry a case press so many buttons, this camera is literally press and go, no worries if the case is open, the only bad thing about is that it doesn't have a removable battery but the size makes up for it

Camera size is great. Takes excellent video in the daytime. Night time however is not as good. night video is the same as most every action cam I've seen, so I don't count that as a negative. The battery is internal and cannot be swapped out when it dies. So no carrying a spare. That's the one down side. When filming from the car, I have to plug it in. I opted to download the app rather than buy the remote and I think in the next couple uses I will buy the remote as it's easier to use than jiggling a phone and steering wheel and a shifter. All in all, worth the money if you are around power in the day. If I were out in the dunes riding, I would opt for the full size.

Most simple and convenient GoPro to date...

This camera is everything it's supposed to be. It's small, simple and records great (not the best) resolution at a new, lower price. If GoPro had priced this correctly from the beginning, it would have been much more popular. One button to start recording and one button to stop as well as auto-off. Connect to it's built-in wifi network to control via your mobile device (I use my iPhone or iPad) AND see playback. A lot of reviews may relate that the resolution isn't the highest, but for everyday or occasional use, it's perfect.

At first, I didn't know what I was doing with this camera, but after taking the time to understand the two button functions and playing around with it, it can be really fun to play with! I bought this as my first GoPro because I was planning on buying the Hero5 when it comes out later this year. It takes getting used to, but I think it is pretty comparable to other GoPros as well. The low-light setting on this isn't the best, so you might want to use external lighting (if you film this any other way than in the water?) or just deal with it and fix it with GoPro studio. Overall good buy!

If you are looking for small cam with good video quality, I suggest givng this cam a try. During vacation, used the cam under water and everywhere i went. The cam is easy to use and is easy to set and go. The app is easy to use with feature and selectable items at your finger tips. However, I find it that somethings it doesnt work even when the wifi from the gorpo is on and the phone is connected. The app and the gopro wifi need to be turn off. This is the only thing i see wrong but for the current price and for what it does in its current size, its good for me.

I bought this for my son who turned 13, he races dirt bikes and has since receding this gift used it several times, he loves it ! The video is of great quality, and it's easy to use ! He purchased a device to clip it to on his chest as well, both work well, much better than the original go pro and a lot less bulky !

The light weight design make it way more better to mount it to any helmet or of that matter and you wont fee all that weight u get from a tradional go pro video n photo quality is still stunting like always and wont disapoint only downside it has a built in batter meaning you get 2 hrs of use and thats it you have to let it recharge if you wanting to recored with it more

Used this camera on my vacation. I got a lot of footage and the 60fps makes action scenes look smooth. I did go on Amazon and I bought a glass lens protector. The lens is too exposed and any little scratch will come out in your video. Also I took off a star because this lens seems to hold on to water droplets a lot. It kind of messed up the shot.
