Great picture quality and the water proof feature is awesome!!! Definitely worth the money.

I did a lot of comparing of the Hero5 Session with the normal Hero cameras and other manufacturers. My overall impression after purchasing the camera is good. However, you have to understand it's limitations and decide if it's for you. I wanted a small profile camera for my dirt bike (and sometimes street bike) riding. The size of the session is my preference. You will give up two perks, though. The battery life is short, two hours seems to be the max. That combined with no ability to switch out the battery like the bigger cameras. That can and will be a deal breaker for a lot of people. However, I have no need to just let the camera run endlessly most of the time. (Too much footage to go through, anyway.) As long as you don't need the battery life or have a need for it, the size and savings may be worth it to you. Otherwise, the features are great and work well. The video is good and sound is actually better than full-size heros in my opinion, due to not needing a case around it. (Session is waterproof on its own.) At some time I may see a need for more battery options, but for now, this suits my purposes very well.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made, this is also my first GoPro, I bought it because I have been traveling quite a lot recently and I am so happy with the quality of the videos and also the fact that is so tiny and waterproof without a case.

For it's size, you can't really beat it. It takes great video and the ability to connect to your smart phone is another great feature. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have a replaceable battery. If it had that, I would have kept it instead of upgrading to the Hero5 Black.

While I'm disappointed with the BestBuy rep claiming to be an "action sports camera expert" telling me it would be at least a year before the Hero 6 came out... the camera itself seems to be worth every penny. Hot, cold, wet or dry this thing has captured some awesome moments. Even in fast action through winding roads of WV the quality has been top notch. While I wish I waited for the Hero6, the price makes this a great buy.

great image, amazing small size. Voice commands make it really easy to start and stop over fumbling around for the button - especially with gloves on.

I love how accessible the camera is and the functions it has (video, photo, voice command) along with the great quality of pictures it takes (4k). The only challenge I've had is transferring the pics of my Iceland vacation to my MacBook. It has been difficult and hope GOPRO makes it easier in sharing with Apple products in the future.

The camera is awesome super easy to use, it's great how small it is, and takes awesome videos. And the GoPro makes its super easy to download and edit videos right from your phone.

This GoPro Session 5 is my first action cam so this is the first time I have used one. I was pleased with how easy it was to use, its portability was enhanced by the numerous attachments and accessories available. I have attached it to my bike and I also have a chest harness which works well. I also use an EVO Gimbal with it and the video looks great.

I love this little camera. I bought it at Bestbuy for the warranty as everyone said it was fantastic. Product is great... love the features like voice control. Picture is awesome as well, and waterproof. All great reasons to own one.

The Hero5 Session is such an excellent camera. The instant on and recording button is great to start capturing footage on the fly. Its compact size make for mounting very easy.

I bought this before me and my wife went on out cruise a few weeks ago. I used it mainly for our snorkeling adventures, as it comes waterproof out of the box. It worked great, was easy to control, and looked fantastic!

It's easy to use & the quality of image is excellent.

Loving this camera. I use it on my racing/acro quadcopter and it's hands down the best camera I've used. Perfect weight, amazing quality, period. Only complaint is the non removable battery. Other than that, its great!
