Took it in our vacation. Pics came out clear and so easy to use. Also it's waterproof so nothing was damaged.

This camera is easy to use and takes great video! Plus it is small and doesn't require much space when packing.

I purchased this GoPro as my first GoPro unit. I did a fair amount of research before determining that this would be a good first step into the world of action cameras. I was right; this camera was great for a beginner. After a few weeks, I ended up buying a Karma Drone, which came with a Hero 6, so I sold the Session to a friend. I would, however, recommend the Session to anyone wanting a great, powerful, small camera for use on the go.

This is a great action cam for beginners not complicated and takes great videos of my kids playing sports! Very convenient and with head harness allows me to take pictures with my camera

Was on wedding registry and couple took on honeymoon in Bali. Great photos, easy to use, even underwater.

This is the first GoPro product I've owned. I previously wanted a GoPro but didn't buy one because the older models were too bulky for what I wanted to use them for. The new Hero5 Session is small, light, and has plenty of features that I find useful when mounting it to my motorcycle helmet, car dash, and tripod. The smartphone interface works well once I learned how to use it, and the ability to instantly save images to my phone, or tablet is awesome.

Wanted an action cam and always heard good things about the GoPros. I figured they have been around for years and this one is compact for what I want it to do. Still learning a few things on it, but overall very little to complain about except battery life goes quick. But still learining on this so I think 4 stars is a fair rating. It may go up or down as I use it more. It was also on sale and I save $50 from other places and I also had a $50 gift card, so I got this for around $100.

The Hero 5 is an amazing camera with great 4K resolution. Lasted me for hours at a concert and I’ll have the memories stored away with visual accuracy, like I’m there again.

The size is great. Love that it's waterproof and has stabilization. The voice control is great.

I was so excited to get a GoPro. However, I wish I bought one that you could view photos on the screen. This little thing can be a pain in the butt.

We took this camera on a snorkeling trip and made for great memories. Also, fun to use on a bike helmet, etc. And easy to use for those technologically challenged.

I took the camera and mounted it on a helmet for white water rafting. It got a lot of amazing footage with no housing needed. Simply the best in that price range.
