This is my first GoPro, but it is perfect for what I need. I also purchased a few accessories! I haven't used it too much other than to test it out some, but I fish any chance I can get during spring, summer, and fall. Used it for ice fishing this winter but can't wait to get on the water in the boat! Obviously, the size is convenient, and the accessories will allow me to record hands free. GoPro!!!

This Camera works great and renders at a great quality afterwards. The only downside would be the audio quality of the video but other than that it's great.

Once you get used to using it it is great. The initial set up was not fun. Once you figure it out and use a good video editor it is awesome.

The Session 5 is a great little camera. I have the original session and it blows that one out of that water. I also have the hero 6. The quality is comparable, but I seem to use the session more often because it is easier to carry around. I use the session when snowboarding because it is easy to carry in my pocket. With the hero 6 it has more of a footprint in my pocket.

It can't handle the cold. If you keep it in an inside pocket and then turn it on right away it seems to work ok. However, as soon as you turn it off, it must go back in the pocket, otherwise the cold will knock out the battery. This is a known issue with the product that the company is well aware of. So those of you planning to use it for winter sports, plan ahead. Otherwise, it works great and the video quality is fantastic.

I was deciding between this and the GoPro Hero 5 Black for the longest time but then opted for this one instead mostly because of its smaller size. I have used it while snowboarding on the mountain, swimming in pools, hiking outdoors, and even out running. It's done a fantastic job with capturing videos, photos, and sound! I could not be more pleased with my purchase.

The gopro hero5 has great video quality. If you love shooting video you will love the GoPro hero5.

I am not professional videographer so I worried what if it is hard to use but very user friendly and love how it is compact to take anywhere

Great compact unit, easy to set up once wifi is confirmed. Syncs with app on iphone easily.

This GoPro is the perfect blend of high quality video and size. The only downfall to me is not having the display. But, the camera can be connected to your phone, which will act as the primary interface. Although you can't always have a phone handy when getting action shots, it definitely suffices for me. I prefer the smaller size of this GoPro anyways.

Used it while hiking in the Blackhills. Video is exceptionally clear with no distortion. Has an extremely wide field of vision and the video is very crisp. I'm recording at the 2.4K resolution which avoids the fisheye effect. Highly recommend the attachment for attaching it to a backpack strap, and also the suction cup accessory is great.

I thought this would last longer on a single charge. Gets about 2hrs max. It is ready to use but I'd like it to last longer for longer motorcycle ride I do.

I have both the Hero 5 Black and the 5 Session. I find myself using the Session more cause if its size. It takes great video. Even the underwater video is nice. Sound quality is good. Best if paired with a remote. Then there is no need to carry your phone. If your looking to do more action videos then this is your choice.

This Gopro is small enough to take anywhere. You'll be able to capture all the fun and excitement no matter the condition.

It was a great cam for what I needed. Then I tried a friends session 5 and loved the super view and higher res recording

The GoPro is the go-to action camera for many. The video is good, sound quality and battery life are dismal.

I have yet to try and do all that is capable of doing but I ma very pleased and exited about it so far. The iPhone App makes it very easy to use and the picture quality is awesome. I wouldn't have bought the original body (HERO 5 BLACK), as I find it too bulky for what a GoPro is, but the cube (SESSION) is truly perfect size.

I will start by saying that it has been many years since I have bought a camera, so to say that I'm having a hard time trying to download and edit the videos and pictures is an understatement. I will eventually figure it out. I love the size and the fact it is waterproof is great. I'm going to really enjoy using this camera.
