Very easy to use straight out of the box. Only issue was no memory card.

This camera is great for outdoors. The video quality is phenomenal. The only drawback is that it only works well in bright lighting conditions.

I recently purchased my second GOPRO Hero 5 Session camera from Best Buy. The second camera was selling for $199, whereas I had paid $299 for the first one a year prior. I like this camera because of the many mounting options and ways that you can activate the camera ( voice control, remote control, phone app, and manually). I use mine mainly for hiking and MTB riding. I have also used it while Zip Lining and I have gotten some very good live concert video.. It is easy to set up using the GoPro App on my phone and when you get the ProTune settings dialed in for your particular usage, the video color and quality is very good. As an added bonus, about a week after I made my purchase in store, Best Buy had an offer of the camera bundled with a Sandisk Extreme Plus 32 GB micro sd card, I hadn't yet opened the package of my GoPro Hero 5 Session Camera and so I was able to go back to the store and actually return the camera and then repurchase it and receive the free Sandisk Extreme Plus 32 GB micro sd card.

Overall it is a great action camera. The quality of the image is very good also as the video. Lowlights are OK. Only cons are the battery life doesn’t last that long and get got easy. But still, you can charge your camera by just plug in the USB-C cable. You don’t have to take the battery off and put it in their charger like the old Hero 4.

Cool camera for trips and vacations where you don’t want to bring your phone. Waterproof out of the box is nice and small form factor.

I love this little wonder of 4k magic!! I am disabled and I mount this little thing on my mobility scooter and catch all kinds of fun shots. It is super helpful with reminding me that I am alive and that I DO things out in the world still. Its a great little security camera, too!

picked this up with my reward points from a t.v. I purchased. Amazing product! The video is crystal clear, new voice modes and medium and linear video mode. Its so small that i can bring it anywhere and never miss a moment! From family functions to burnouts, this thing does it all!

This GoPro has all the stuff you need in an even more compact package! Water Proof case means there is no need for an additional case. Easy to use one touch record and user friendly control make using this camera a breeze! Great value for the money and I highly recommend!

I use this camera on my motorcycle helmet and I get some great shots. The size and weight is good and isn't as noticeable traveling at highway speeds as the hero black which produces a lot a wind resistance. I use the app on my iPhone to start and stop recording.

My husband was involved in an accident and was rear ended. The driver knew the cop and said the accident was 50/50. So, we got the regular session for one vehicle and after seeing how good it was got two more but the Hero 5 Session for the newer vehicles. I refuse to be in the same situation again. We will use these for insurance purposes and legally if necessary. Every four nights (128g chip) we delete the chip, but again, its still useful for driving and documentation.

Bought the session for 3 reasons. Drone footage, outdoor adventures and the capability to record in 4K. Picture quality is great, love the ability to control via voice commands or the phone app. Can’t wait to get it strapped to the front of my kayak this year.

This is my third GoPro camera and my second session one. This model (Hero5 session) has worked great. This camera is tough and well-built with a good set of features. The environment that I use my cams are mostly in the harsh salt water. Mostly, this cam, is scouting underwater to recon and tell me where the local gamefish are hiding. But, I also use a mount for fixing it onto my fishing poles, as I document my memory of whipping whatever fish. Haha.. The battery holds a good charge. The video is actually fairly impressive and has worked flawlessly. The microphone is far better than I had ever imagined. The mic works outstanding underwater! I drop these cams around some pretty rough areas (concrete, rocks, and barnacles) and they are handling it with no problem. It handles shock and vibration also with no problem when on my Harley. Overall, a great camera for the money-
