Love this drone! Had the DJI PHANTOM 3, Yuneec, and DJI MAVIC. While I like the features of the Mavic such as obstacle avoidance, the Karma is a great drone. Easy to fly, great looking, portable, and comes with the hand held grip. Initially, I did not think I would have use for the grip/stabilizer now I can't imagine not having it. Huge benefit, keeps camera steady, and the GoPro 5 footage is TOP NOTCH QUALITY! Being waterproof without a case is another great quality. If you want a great drone purchase this kit, you'll want the drone and stabilizer.

Do not pay full retail for this drone. Although it has a nice list of features, they do not at all justify the price. Pros: - Controller features a built-in screen for remote viewing the camera without a phone. - Built-in flight simulator. - Relatively simple controls with a decent first-time tutorial. - Pretty good footage with decent recording options. Cons: - Pathetic user's guide / instruction manual - Calling this a "drone" is a bit of a misnomer. It is more like a glorified RC helicopter. There is no obstacle avoidance and the only thing that seems automated is a poorly developed landing routine which causes the drone to soar high (not good if under a tree canopy) before landing roughly near where you want it to (starting location / controller location). - Short battery life at this price. Additional information: - Propellers are not protected and shatter easily. However, they are fairly easy to replace and a set costs about twenty bucks. - Fair weather craft only - do not fly in precipitation.

karma was a plus for getting the go pro. The picture quality is so good.

I absolutely love this drone! The features are beyond the standard in this price range. The 4K stabilized camera is excellent as well. The GPS feature is incredibly sensitive. If you launch from a location and push the button to return to launch it will land within inches of where it took offf from! Now for the cons....well con (singular). The battery life is supposed to be 20 minutes of flight time and it probably more like 15-17. We bought the extra battery at the initial purchase because we were aware of the issue.

This drone is fantastic! The fact that you get a camera, gimbal and drone in one package is amazing! Very easy to learn how to use and setup is a snap!

I purchased this drone about a month ago to use in my video business. I've used it several times now and it has done nothing but impress me. It's easy to use right out of the box! And GoPro has definitely concentrated in features that make this product very video friendly.

This has so many great features for the price it was an easy choice. Easy to fly very stable even in some wind and the GoPro 5 takes clear high definition pictures from any height. The back pack makes it great to transport and carry. I would but it again tomorrow.

Loses gps signal a lot , karma is easy to fly, customer support is not the best

I purchased this with the idea that it would be easy to fly, also came with Hero 5 which I planned on buying anyway. I was pleased with the ease of use, and quality of this product. I was a little disappointed in the battery life, I would only get 18 minutes of fly time per charge. It recharges really quickly and I purchased a second battery.

Great value for all you get in the kit. My only complaint is the flight time of the battery for the price.

This drone is a great value. Not only do you get a drone, but you get a Hero5 black, and the karma grip. All this comes in a nice backpack. The reason for 4 stars is because the drone does not have obstacle avoidance sensors like some of the dji drones. Im very pleased with my purchase!!!

Did my research before I bought the GoPro Karma drone and I am beyond happy that I went with this drone instead of others on the market. The 4k quality on the GoPro Hero 5 (which is included) is phenomenal. I'll admit at over $1000 it's expensive; however when you break down the individual cost of each item separately you come out on top. The backpack is comfortable and has enough room to store extra batteries. Speaking of batteries you're gonna need some more after buying this as each battery (for the actual drone) can give you about 20 mins of flight time. Good luck and happy flying.

All we hoped for. It takes super videos and sharp pics.

Set up was pretty simple, flying was pretty easily accomplished, pictures very cool but the problem was we kept loosing connection. Now maybe there is a way to correct this and we did not give it enough time to master, but when the thing is in the air and you suddenly cannot give it any commands, it's scary. We ended up returning

Can't fly drone in DMV due to airspace restrictions. GoPro camera is great though!

It's a great drone to learn to fly. It comes with accessories to use alone without the drone and the detachable GoPro is the biggest selling point. It's nice to not have to use your phone for the controller, the only set back to it is there's no obstacle avoidance.

The Karma drone is not the best drone on the market. But where the Karma shines is the versatility that almost every drone cannot compare to. The drone includes the actually gopro camera and a pretty good rotating handle. Launching a drone to record an awesome beach and then removing the camera to record underwater to follow up with great filming of a beach get-together with the Karma handle is flexibility I cannot find elsewhere.

This is fun for all ages just watch out for the wind and power lines otherwise your going to be losing a propellor or worse an eye.

I bought this package because I was looking for a drone, but also wanted a good stand alone action camera. While the drone is not the greatest available, with no sensors for collision avoidance, it is very stable and provides good aerials.

Very impressed with the karma drone thus far. Packaging was great and the backpack carrying case makes hauling everything around convenient. Flying is simple even for a first time operator and the quality of the hero 5 camera is excellent. The added bonus of the karma grip is great for smooth handheld shots. I look forward to using it more.
