First of all yes I know all about the reviews this game has gotten and all the complaints. But honestly I really enjoyed this game despite all the backslash. And as a huge fan of the Arkham games (yes I know it’s not in the same verse.) and a hug fan of Batman and the bat family this was a really fun game.

The game itself is average at best. It’s not as good as previous Batman games, but not as bad as popular reviewers would have you think. It’s worth trying if you like open world games and a different take on Batman/Gotham lore.
Best Buy delivered the game 2 days early and in perfect condition.

Its a good story, so far. The fighting is great exactly the style you'd expect from each character. The 30 fps on next gen console and the contols being not quite as intuitive as I'd hoped are the reaso I can't quite give it the 5th star. The batcycle is super fun to zip around Gotham on and the story (so far) is fun and engaging.

Is it worth the 70? I would say get it for at least 10 dollars off and its worth it. Sure it has problems but overall its a very fun game and the coop is amazing if you and your friend have the same console and the game you should both play coop. Overall is really fun, story is good, but the ui is quite confusing at first and attacks are boring until you play for a couple of hours and it gets really fun. Overall, try this game and then say its trash 4/5

I've had the game for a couple of weeks now and I have really enjoyed the gameplay. It gets repetitive as it is the nature of this type of game but having 4 characters to choose from helps a bit with that. The city looks outstanding, I really enjoy checking every corner while walking, gliding or riding the bike. You get invested in the characters from the very beginning, there are scenes that play out as you play with each one of them that show how they deal with this difficult loss. It is a solid game despite its shortcomings, not being 60fps for instance.

While this game isn’t as bad as most major review sites say it is. This game isn’t without its flaws.
For starters the games story will carry this game in terms of enjoyment. And while the combat is fun at first it does begin to become repetitive after a few hours thankfully new enemies are introduced that mix things up. However the activities outside of the story are just boring. It’s cool to them a few times but after awhile you’ll realize you’re doing the same thing over and over again just with a different faction as your enemy.
I do recommend plaything this just for the story but I can’t see this game lasting a long time in a players console after completion especially when around this time of year lots of games come out.
Also in terms of price. It’s up to you if spending $70+ on this is worth it for you. Personally I got my worth out of it. However if you can pick this game up at $40 or less then do so.

I struggled with the idea of a game locked 30 FPS on next gen, but, surprisingly there’s only few moments you can really tell. I was immediately hooked on the story. The combat is sluggish but honestly depends on who you decide to play as. My first play through as Robin was honestly the best and most fluid out of everyone. All in all, get the game if you want a great story but understand it’s mediocre combat.

To be honest, this aint nothing like the Batman games by Rocksteady. The graphics are pretty good but not as crisp & detailed as Rocksteady. I guess I got to used to Rocksteady's Batman that I'm not too sold on the controls. Other than that, it's a fun game but could have been better if Batman was in it. (Sorry! What can I say, I'm a Batman fan lol!!!)

I always liked the Arkham games but never held them up the way others do, so I was able to go into this game a bit more open-minded I think. That said, for them to have dropped the last gen versions, more care could’ve gone into this game’s optimization. When I see other open world games with more NPC’s and more detailed and sprawling environments, it baffles me that this game can’t even pull off 60fps or eveb a more consistent frame rate. I drop frames more often than i care to in an action game. I also wish there was more variety in crimes and in just overall momemt to moment gameplay. Most objectives can be completed by just punching your way through it. Aside from that, I am having fun with it and enjoy the multiplayer aspect of being able to run around Gotham with my husband. I don’t think it’s worth the full $70 it’s asking for, but I do think it’s worth your time …just maybe at $30-$40 especially considering the story content is pretty short.

The game definitely isn't as bad as some people might say. It's a strange choice to not include Batman in a Batman related game but it's does make for an interesting story. Also even though the game only runs at 30fps, it does still look great, at least when running on PS5.

First of all, this game does not deserve the trashing it got from YouTube reviewers and IGN to name a couple. Yes, it's not a Batman Arkham game but Batman is dead. I have always wanted to play as one of the sidekicks and I am having a blast. You have the main story plus plenty of side activities, collectibles and other elite Gotham villians to keep you occupied. I would highly suggest going through the tutorials to learn the moveset for this game. You will have a good grasp on the combat once you complete it.
If you are on the fence, go ahead and make the jump.

Fans of the superhero gaming genre & especially the DC universe are going to enjoy this. But do not go into it expecting an Arkham game it was never meant for that. Fun combat & a great story!
