This is the best game they have put out so far. Once you start the fun don't stop. There is so much to do on there you may lose your social life for awhile. I'm looking forward to gta6. No complaints here. I just wish I can add my own content to the game how I want my world to be. It would be nice if xbox and ps3 players can play in one worlds on the map altogether at once.

    Best game ever made

GTAV is overall the greatest game ever made. The story is very engaging and leaves you wanting more. There are countless things to do when not in a mission. There are endless views of the LS and San Andreas skylines which don't disappoint no matter what time of day it is in the game. The cars drive much nicer than in previous GTAs. Also I like that if you die during a mission, you have the option of restarting from a checkpoint so if you're very deep into it you don't have to start completely over. There are three playable main characters, Franklin Clinton, Michael Townley, and Trevor Phillips, which are very all compelling and bring their own special skills such as driving, shooting, and flying. Dogs are in the game, but are not playable. Most notably is Lamar's dog Chop who you can play fetch with whilst controlling Franklin. Also he will protect Franklin by attacking his enemies. You can shoot (or run over) wildlife if you desire, but I don't recommend hitting them whilst on a bike. The only thing I would say could be better about the game in general, is there are occasional glitches such as subtle graphics pop in and I had an issue where Michael's wife got stuck in the front door of the safe house and and the screen started flickering. As a result, Michael temporarily couldn't use that door to go out. Fortunately, there are several other means of going outside, such as the patio doors in back, the garage access, or through the upstairs bathroom window. You cannot go in or out through the chimney like Santa. So in all honesty, you can't do EVERYTHING in GTAV, but it doesn't take away from the fun factor. Also, some of the on screen text is very hard to read because of obscure fonts and generally just very small size type. The phone content is especially hard to read which I found to be annoying. Other than that, the game is still great and the best I've ever played in all my years of gaming. I would give GTAV 97 out 100 Chop treats.

This game is everything you would expect from Rockstar and then some, by some I mean A LOT! just to give you an idea of how large this game is, I so far have only played for 12 hours, completing only 5/69 main missions. The graphics are beautiful and impeccable, the views, scenery and NPC's that you can choose to interact with is hilarious. Depending on which neighborhood your in your always bound to stumble upon something new, secret, or just plain entertaining. The controls are sturdy and smooth, and although at first it may take time getting used to, this game will easily suck a minimum of 50-75 hours of your life and that's not even including the online version which is only being released October 1st. 2 other awesome and handy items Rockstar did was making 2 ipad/iphone apps, one being the manual with a googly style map and ifruit where you train your dog, and customize cars for the ps3 game.

This is by far the best game of the series. Part 4 was a bit of a let-down, especially after the countless hours I invested in San Andreas..and this game has brought back that "San Andreas" feel, as well as attention to detail that has become the GTA standard. I have already spent tens of hours on the game in the past couple days, and I have to even come close to exploring the world in it's entirety. I've had fun just looking around and trying various methods of transportation as well as finding new ways to wreak havoc, and building up my character's skills. The missions so far have proven to be mildly challenging, not too hard, not to easy, but just fun and interesting in general...plus, the story itself is immersive in that twisted GTA sense. I love this game and look forward to the many more hours of entertainment it will provide me and I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This is THE game to play and I just can't stop singing GTA V's prasies. Amazing gameplay, the music is perfect as always, its the best GTA game ever made. Game of the Year hands down. The graphics are ultra realistic, there are some times where it literally looks like you're really there. Fantastic atmosphere, even when just playing side jobs and crusing around. You just can't not have fun playing this. I would recommend this to anyone. Being able to customize your cars and clothes, buying stocks on your smartphone, there's so much more to this game than meets the eye. Buy it, rent it, borrow it, just get your hands on it and play it. You will Not be sorry.

Got the game at the midnight release and been playing it since then. It feels good to be back in the Grand Theft Auto world, and thats what I like. The dialogue is amazing and the story has great depth just like gta4 and liberty city stories if they were blended into one game like gta5. get it you wont be disappointed

The storyline is the best part of this game, I always liked the weaponry and the explosions are very good! Having three characters to choose from throughout the game is definitely a refreshing change. The vehicle customization could be a little better but it's satisfying nonetheless.

Was very excited to experience the new Grand Theft Auto 5. From the day I brought it home, till the day I completed it ,The game kept me interested and excited. Upon completing The story mode I began trying the online features. To my surprise The online game was like an entirely new game! You get to interact with friends and strangers in a large wide open map. I highly recommend buying this game

So excited for the GTA 5 to finally be here, however, there are lots of glitches. If you leave your car, it will disappear. Also, the online gaming option is inoperable; this is what I was looking forward to. Nonetheless, the new characters keep the storyline interesting. Hopefully the updates come soon.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is the best game in the series yet. Good story, amazing variety of things to do with virtually endless replayability, and the ability to switch between characters on the fly is genius. Vehicles are incredible and there is a wide variety, everything from beaters to sports cars to offroad vehicles to boats and planes. What's great is the damage they take on in real time affects the performance of the vehicle, making driving/flying feel much more realistic. NPC interactions are much improved from earlier entries in the series, you can interact with strangers on the street and there are a lot of random, exciting things going on around your character even if you're not on a mission and just exploring. AMAZING graphics and believable characters. Voice acting is spot on and the music licensing is great. Huge and beautifully designed open world, but it doesn't seem as large as Rockstar had claimed it was going to be. Online play is inventive and cool, although the PS3 version has had a number of issues with glitching and connection problems...I am sure these bugs will get sorted out as the developer makes improvements through updates and downloadable content. A must have for any die hard modern gamer with a great balance of action, adventure, driving, and RPG all in one game. Warning! Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED FOR KIDS under 14-15 yrs, though it's hard to keep kids from gaming what they want anyway. Though it is often comedic in it's lack of censorship, there are heavy and explicit adult themes in this game. Pay attention to what your kids are playing.

Grand Theft Auto has always been a step above all other open world games; however, GTA V has leaped ahead of the pack. If you are reading this then you have probably already read all of the reviews and maybe even made a decision to purchase it. This is most likely the final step before actually going out and picking up a copy. This will definitely be one of the best video game investments that you have ever made. GTA V is one of those games that I did not mind paying full price for because it is a game that will keep me busy during my free time for at least 3 months. Whether you are looking for a game that will satiate your gaming hunger until the release of the next generation consoles or simply a game that will reinvigorate your admiration of the current generation consoles GTA V is the game for you. It begins with an interesting sequence that immediately throws you into the action. It gives you an early feel for the controls before the main story; this prelude serves as a brief but welcomed introduction to the seemingly main protagonist. In any case be aware that the game begins at full throttle as far as the violence and profanity is concerned. Once the main story begins you will be securely holding on to your controller with a partial smile that will evolve into a giggle or two. As you are probably already aware the map is fully open to players with a type of shroud of darkness or "fog-of-war" covering it so that there is still a sense of curiosity to try and see as much as you can as early as you can. I found myself wanting to uncover as much of the map as early as possible but the missions kept me coming back. I did not want to leave the area where all of the initial missions are located so I stayed in the vicinity. This has held true to the present and in my case I believe that this is one of the things that is keeping me glued to my screen. The game is realistic enough to be impressive but it also revisits some of the insanity that was GTA: San Andreas on PS2. This strikes a nice balance and keeps the player returning for more. Even if you are a non-gamer I believe you will like the experimentation that GTA V allows for because you never have to complete any mission since the map is open from the beginning. I realized this when I returned from walking my dogs and my wife had picked up the controller, that I left on the living room table, to play the game. She does not enjoy most video games in the least but she was loudly laughing by herself while she ran around punching and kicking people and objects in order to get reactions from Los Santos' inhabitants. The fact that my wife liked the game is the number one reason I love this video game.

I have to admit, I was pretty excited to start this game after reading the discription from the game. I was not disappointed. From the very beginning of the game you're captivated by the screenplay and the story line. The graphics are fantastic and the movement of the characters, cars, planes, etc. are on point. I always love playing games that are open world. I especially like games like Fallout and Skyrim and this game delivers in that aspect. It's almost overwhelming with the amount of detail they put in this game and the amount of activities that are available to partake in. If you get bored from the main missions you can look for side missions. If those get boring or if you get stuck on a part of the game, you can train your character to better himself to be more successful in the missions. Meaning, you can go to the gun range and improve your shooting skill. Or you can go running in a race or swimming to improve your stamina. The only complaint I have about the game is the amount of loading time. But that is to be expected with the amount of content the game has to offer. Even though it took about 15-20 min to download the first disc, it was worth it in saving future load time in the game. I'm assuming if the game was played on the new consoles coming out that the download and loading time would drastically be reduced with the hardware power they are boasting.

    Rockstar Strikes Again

Another great game by Rockstar. The main change from previous versions is the ability to play and switch between 3 main characters, each with their own story line and side missions. The simplicity of the game is both a plus and a minus. GTA V doesn't seem as big as previous versions as there isn't as much extra stuff you have to do. At times the extra stuff seemed tedious with the previous games so having it absent from GTA V is a plus, but it also feels less fulfilling with it gone as the game just feels lacking a little. Still tons of stuff to do and a long, rewarding story line, but there are times when it just feels like there could be more. GTA online may be the answer there but I haven't dove into that side of things yet. Lastly, as with all GTA games, this is not a game that should be played by or played around children. From the first second, expletives are thrown around in every conversation. For a mature adult it's not a problem, but children should not be exposed to it. The strip clubs also leave nothing to the imagination in this game. Keep this one away from the kids.
