    The Geek Squad in-home service is excellent. My Denon receiver was defective and this service was offered to re-install the new receiver and re-program all my existing components previously connected to the receiver. The technicians were very polite, efficient and eager to educate me on how to use my TV, receiver, Blu-ray and Harmony remote. I'm not highly knowledgeable with the new wireless technologies, so I asked ALOT of questions. I was very impressed with their patience in answering all of my questions, and they genuinely wanted me to be comfortable and confident in operating the components I had previously purchased. Other in-home services I've experienced just install and leave. Not the Geek Squad; they differentiate themselves by making sure you have a superior "customer experience" from the in-store purchase to your home and any future services.

    This was a truly positive experience. They took the time to figure out what was going on after we " cut the cord" from our old system. They reconfigured our system to make it incredibly better. They told me exactly what to say to our new service provider to make it work. They were professional and friendly and didn't make this baby boomer feel stupid.

    This was one of the best things we have done with Geek Squad. Total Tech membership & the 5 year protection plan on the old TV saved us a lot of time and money and with the new/replacement TV we did the 5 year protection plan again. $179.95 to save the cost of a $850 TV was a great investment. With total Tech we get 2 years on the TV but the old TV was just 16 days from the 2 years so real close.

    My 5 year old 65" TV had a major defect and was covered by Best Buy's warranty. The Geek Squad promptly responded to repair it and it turned out that the repair didn't work. I was given a case number and called the Geek Squad to work out a replacement. The new TV was delivered 3 days later and two techs arrived at the designated time to set it up. They made a point to cover my rug with a cloth before taking the old TV out. They were very careful unboxing and setting up the new TV and made sure the remote was programed properly. I was also instructed on the remotes use and they did not appear to be in any hurry to leave until I was done asking questions. They cleaned up all the packaging before they left and informed me to call them if I had more questions or needed them to come back. I was impressed with their demeanor and it was a pleasant experience.

    Best Buy was very honest and reliable. They replaced our wall mounted TV in the previous spot with less than 1/16 inch to spare. They were professional, knowledgable and kind in assisting me in how to operate the new Samsung TV with the remote clickers.

    My 5 year old Sony TV had a failure (probable backlight issue) but fortunately my service agreement with Geek Squad was still in effect. The Geeks came over and replaced it with a brand new one that performs better than the old one. The service was prompt, friendly and a generally pleasant experience. I don't often buy service plans but I very glad I did for this TV; so much so that I bought another for the replacement.

    I had purchased a Vizio Dolby Atmos Soundbar which was incorrectly installed, plus one of the Surround Speakers was working only intermittently. I went into the local Geek Squad (Atwater, and George I think) who perfectly understood my predicament said he would send his best technician with a replacement. John(?) arrived on schedule and with his assistant had the system connected CORRECTLY, tested, up and running within 30mins. A night and day difference from the first setup. I am an A/V geek and hate it when I know more than the technician which is what happened with the first installation. John was on my wave link and EVERYTHING went perfectly...HDMI for Dolby Atmos, not Digital Optic, and correct rear speaker connection.

    Great install, but receiver had same issue

    The person that installed my receiver did a great job, was friendly, professional and got everything set up as it should be. There was no problem with that. However, the receiver, which I had taken in for making a high pitched noise, started making the same noise after about 10 minutes and I had to disconnect everything and return it again. Lesson to learn here is: 1) when picking up the receiver again, take it into the Magnolia center, plug it in there and wait before scheduling a reinstall; or 2) after reinstall, make the guy wait at my my home for at least 15 minutes to see if it starts up again. I've been without my receiver now for over a month (except for 1 day) and it's frustrating. Be sure to read your warranty conditions!

    When I purchased my OLED65B7 in October of 2017 I also purchased the Qeek Squad coverage. They also wall mounted the product. In January of this year I started to notice difficulty to adjust color with faces on the screen and noticed lines and images on my lower screen. I contacted Geek Squad for a scheduled call. When they arrived and reviewed my situation it was determined that burn-in occurred and Qeek Squad would be in touch with me. It didn't take long to rectify my issue and after a cordial conversation with my options it was worked that I upgraded from what I had to the OLED65C8PUA. The service was fast and their care on how they had taken down and installed my new OLED panel was great. It is worth the protection in your investment.

    The agent removed two old flat screen TV’s and installed and set up the two new ones I bought He was friendly knowledgeable and professional. His work was completed efficiently and he cleaned up and carried away the cartons and old TV’s. Excellent from start to finish

    Rehanging a TV

    The geek squad installers arrived on time and re-hung the TV which was off and leaning to right by a quarter of an inch. They were correcting an installation done by a previous GS installer. They also moved the TV up 3 inches as it was too low. The installers were generally nice and courteous and I wouldn't mind them coming back to doing more work for me in the home. I advised them that the prior installation was done by only one person for a 55 inch TV and they indicated it probably should done by two people.

    We purchased the in home tech package and it really worked for us. A technician came to our home and installed our 55" TCL ROKU TV. It was bigger and more complicated than we were comfortable installing ourselves. The tech set it up and showed us the best short cuts to navigate the new menu. We are used to Samsung but decided to try the TCL after all the great reviews. We too can recommend it and also recommend purchasing the in home Geek Squad support package.

    Geek Squad guys are great! We bought a new 75” Samsung QLED 4K to replace our old 75” Samsung. Due to changes in the configuration of the TV by Samsung, the wall mounting bracket had to be moved to put the TV at the same level, accommodate the location of the center speaker on the component equipment cabinet, etc. The Geek Squad measured meticulously to make sure the TV was level. They wound all of the various cables through the cabinet, hooking up the TV, cable box, Blueray, receiver, etc. Everything works flawlessly. Highly recommend the Geek Squad!

    The whole entire process of my tv going out and getting new tv replaced was hasselfree and they did what they could to get it done as fast as possible which i appreciated very much. From the time i made the call till getting new tv was less than a week and all so very imformative. I was so glad i paid that exrea money for the protection i was amazed how easy it worked.
