The idea of the guardzilla HD 360 is great, but the final product is lacking in many ways.
The set up is fairly simple, and the app walks you through it nicely. I do like the fact that it can be used for indoor as well as outdoor. This camera has many great features, but with how laggy the camera is, makes it almost useless.
First off, the camera connects to a 2.4ghz wireless network. I'm surprised the developers didn't add 5g as it would definatly improve with the lag. Yes, this camera is very laggy, and I am using a high speed internet connection of 200mbp with a nighthawk router - which is more than sufficient. The camera loses connection way more than it should, and takes awhile to wake up from sleep mode.( Which can be a problem if I'm getting robbed.)
I do like the idea of it being wireless, but keep in mind, you will need to take it down and charge it. Which means no security when being charged.
The picture quality is somewhat to be desired, I honestly don't know how they classify this as HD...The Picture is very fuzzy and blurry. There are a couple tweaks, but they don't really make a difference in picture quality.
Another nice feature is the 2 way audio. Only, even with my iPhone 7+ at full vol, I can barely hear anything. So the built in mic really needs an upgrade. The company says they will be releasing a new firmware in the next couple of day, that adds improvement to the motion sensing. So, we will see if that helps with anything else. As of now the motion sensing is actually decent, So I can't complain about that.
Overall, this is just a mediocre wireless camera, with poor video and audio. The 360 pan is a nice feature, but with the amount of lag this device has, I would be hesitant to recommend it as a security device. Maybe a pet camera would be a more practical use for it.

Setup was quick and easy for Guardzilla - 360 Outdoor HD Panoramic Security Camera. I have downloaded the app on my phone after reading the quick instruction guide. I was able to configure and quickly connect to my home network. The firmware was updated automatically to the new version.
I have made changes in settings based on my home setup and it was up and running within 30 mins. The voice feedback is really good feature rather than notifications and flash points. I was able to mount this camera easily with the provided hardware and magnetic attachment for wall / cell mount. The attachment is really strong to hold the camera.
I love the 360 degree view from this camera and able to spin around the whole backyard. There are many notification options available like Push alerts, email, 2 way communication and loud siren.
There are two options for power management. It can be powered with rechargeable internal battery or 10 foot power card. This camera built to withstand extreme cold, heat and moisture conditions
This is excellent outdoor camera and highly recommend to anyone for home security.

I have gotten a lot of cameras over the last couple of years but none like Guardzilla. I wanted Guardzilla to be a comprehensive solution to my home security. The plan was to put a camera on my front stoop to alert me to visitors and give me the ability to communicate with them if needed. Receiving the Guardzilla it came in a huge package that really gave off a cool vibe. It felt less a camera and more like receiving a new computer or something. Very cool.
Setting it up was incredibly easy compared to other cameras. The camera was found right away and I was up and running in just a few minutes using my Apple iPhone 6 Plus and Ipad Pro Plus. One note though, the app search for "Guardzilla" found nothing in the Apple store but going to the Guardzilla site as noted in the setup docs and clicking on Guardzilla app for iOS found it without issue and I was off and running. One last note on the setup, the camera does use a rather loud voice so maybe don't set it up while having a hangover and trying to not wake the wife in the next room ;)
Once I was running the interface of the app was fairly easy to setup and use. The SET POV sometimes seemed to revert to a view that skewed downward but that was fixed in an update. Everything was up and running in no time but I quickly noticed one issue: no video clips were showing up in my events log. When you set up the system it gives you several options, one of those being free video clips for 2 days at 30 seconds a clip. There are other, better pay options to pay for longer storage save times and even options for remote home security monitoring as the professional services such as ADT do. But where are the clips? I could not locate them no matter what I did. I decided to give it a rest and work on it the next day.
The next day I woke up and realized I had gotten an email from an Emma at Guardzilla customer service who welcomed me to the Guardzilla family and hoped that if I had any questions I would contact them. Well, perfect timing! So I did write back to Emma and asked how do I view the video clips? Well to my surprise within about 30 minutes I got a reply and we started working to resolve the issue. After several emails back and forth we did resolve the issue by me allowing Guardzilla to push a new software version to my camera. So the customer service was incredibly good. They worked with me extensively, on a timely basis to resolve my issue and I cannot state just how much this means to me because in this day and age such great customer service is not the norm, it's a very rare exception.
Once the camera was up and running I did take the time to note just how awesome it was that you could swirl the camera up, down and all around to see everything in the vicinity. Very amazing. Yes the resolution could be a slight bit better but the ability to see such a comprehensive view makes it very well worth it. The siren that is in the unit is loud but not ear splitting like my home alarm but it will do the job I think. It also gives you the ability to set how long the alarm runs in case you want to shorten it or make it longer. The entire app gives you a good amount of flexibility in how you want to use the camera which is great I think.
So bottom line? Honestly I was going to rate this camera four stars because it does seem to have a few issues with the software (the POV not staying, my issue with the camera clips, etc) but nothing that is a dealbreaker. It just seems new and in need of some software updates. But with the excellent customer service that Guardzilla gave to me, not only friendly but fast and smart customer service, I raised my rating to five stars. If not for that I'd wonder if the camera and the app was going to get those needed updates, but considering how on the ball the Guardzilla company is I have no doubt that they will do so.
Listen, the mere fact that the company stands behind its product and really seems to care that they keep customers and make them happy goes a long way toward obtaining my future business and should be strongly considered if you are on the fence for a security camera. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I currently own 2 other guardzilla products. When I purchase this camera, I was excited about the possibility. I will use it in my backyard. Since I have a pool, I set to alarm to alert me if my kids go near the pool without me knowing. I did have a hard time getting it set up, but afterwards it has been working well. The image quality is good. I am able to view my entire backyard. Just need to get used to the 360 viewing on my phone. I've only had it for a couple of days. Time will tell if it meets my needs, but so far, so good.

I was really excited about this camera having a "360" degree viewing capability so I could monitor my outdoor living spaces that are spread too far apart for a standard camera to see well. Unfortunately, I've been underwhelmed. Setup was relatively easy except the tiny QR code you have to scan is nearly impossible for my phone to focus on. Once I got it to read, the camera popped on and I started testing. Video quality is decent and what you'd expect from a wide angle lens. Battery life is decent, but not great. When wall mounted, you actually get a 180 degree horizontal viewing area, which should be obvious because of the way the camera works. The bad side, and the real deal breaker for me is the lack of some basic functionality with my unit. First, no matter how many times I've tried, the camera simply will not auto-arm. The geofencing doesn't work at all, even though I've given permission to use my location at all times. Next, in the week I've had the camera installed, I've gotten one motion alert. One. I have stood in front of the camera (less than 6 feet away) jumping for a full minute and nothing. This is with sensitivity set to high. Totally unacceptable. Third, when live monitoring, the view pans up and to the left even if my phone is sitting on my desk and I'm not touching it. There is no way to stop this from happening. I can't comment on the cloud storage since the camera doesn't alert on movement and obviously isn't recording anything. Perhaps a future software release can fix these issues, but for now, this unit is worthless for its intended security purpose. Back to my Arlo I suppose.

I've had a few other home cameras and got this because of the 360 viewing in one of the rooms. With the price point, I didn't expect much, but was totally surprised.
The image quality is great inside the house.
Setup was simple (Android User).
The viewing angle is so great, I keep moving it to different locations trying to decide how many more I wish to purchase.
My only wish is totally unrealistic. Power over IP so I can place a few away from the house.

This is the best camera I have used yet. I have had issues with other product not connecting to my internet, but this was simple and easy to setup. The app walked me through the setup process, and the clarity of the video is easily the best I have seen yet. The fact that it has a 360 degree view makes me and my family feel safe.

This is a great security camera. It works perfectly for our small yard and porch. Setup was pretty easy, per my boyfriend, had a few setbacks but he figured it out. It covers the entire area we need it to. The two-way audio feature is a nice addition as well as the alarm. Compared to other more expensive brands I would say this one is a steal!

I am not tech savvy. Setup took 3 minutes. A firmware update took a few minutes more. I plugged it in, and it’s working great. Love the ability to look around without having to reposition the camera. Battery life has been outstanding so far - I’ll need to recharge every month or two - but that will pay for itself compared to other battery powered cameras.

I feel like I was a victim for years of the high priced security solutions with monthly fees and very little else.
I love the way this works. Simple to set up, easy to monitor, inexpensive, but
loud as heckfire when the time is right. We’ve been using in various locations including a recent (successful) trial out by the pool area.
Great product. Never going back to the old way of doing security.

The setup was rather frustrating until I contacted customer service. This device cannot be pair with an Apple Airport. To my luck the modem/router from my cable provider was good enough to complete the setup.
However, the camera cannot be located. Back to customer service, who after some trouble shooting determined more likely than not the camera was not functioning as it should and a replacement will be sent.
More to follow.

First the set up was anything but easy. Could not scan or enter the ID to link camera. My daughter, who is very tech savvy even had trouble. First day worked great. Next day kept kicking off line. App kept saying locating but would not link. After turning off camera then back on it stayed connected all day. Night vision pics are terrible. Day three it worked until evening then back off line. Checked battery level and was low at day three! Brought indoors and charged. Wouldn’t connect indoors for several hours. Once it connected battery life was back to 60%. Outside again where after an hour lost connection. I don’t have a weak wifi signal. Can get full bars on cell and iPad 30 feet away from camera. Taking it back next week.

I was given the Guardzilla outdoor 360 camera as a gift and it's great! I love that it's always recording in 360 degrees and that I can follow motion in any direction. The set up was quick, picture quality is great and customer service helped me with my question about auto arming. No complaints so far.

nice when it works but requires constant "reset"

problem is when you out of town and try to connect it more often won't connect until you push the reset button on camera....so leaving town for more than 12 hours usually may work once if you lucky twice...but who wants to go home from another set just to push that reset button. .....have with other cameras but they all most be close to the wireless router to work....30 feet seems to be the limit and if you have a "extender" wireless, won't work as net work needs to be same for all cameras. online help was a joke.....ended up working it out my self to get them to work a little, but can't depend on it.
