I was a longtime user of Turbotax since the 90's until their prices got ridiculous. Now I have been using H&R Block software for the past 3 tax years. H&R Block software is a better value and just as easy to use.

I had always used Turbo Tax, and decided to try HRBlock's program. It was easy to transfer files, and the program is great. Plus, I appreciate the availability of audit support from HR BLOCK offoces.

It's that time of the year again and this is the same software I have used for the last 12+ years... Started out with Turbo Tax until they decided to get greedy and make one pay for each little thing and haven't gone back.

I have been using this tax software for years and I can't imagine doing my taxes with any other software. It is easy to use and there is company support if you need it.

I've been using H & R Block software to do my taxes for the last couple of years. It's less expensive than Turbo Tax, has all the forms, and does the job as good.

I returned the product to HRBlock using their 60day money back guarantee. Their ad claims easy import. This was true for the ACA statement if you have the pdf file from the ACA site. However I returned it for two reasons. We had our taxes done in the Block office by a person last year. There is no way to import last year's HRBLOCK taxes using their CD, but you CAN import it for a $29.99 fee using the ONLINE version of their software. I would expect the same functionality between their CD version and online version. AND more importantly they should allow the IMPORT of their OWN tax documents to the CD since I paid so much for them in the office last year. AND charge a fee again? Bad taste. We needed the Premium level of the program to use Schedule D, but I was unable to figure it out with their help screens. I refused to wait on the text chat line an hour again (after my first issue with the import of prior year's tax issue). I went online to try TurboTax for the first time and was able to get Schedule D after 2 help searches. (and TurboTax allowed PDF uploade for the ACA) Block's online chat help is very slow for the end of January, I can't imagine what will happen the closer to April (hopefully they will add staff the closer tax day approaches).

I have used the H&R Block Tax software for years. This is the go to tax preparation software for all DIY. Yes, I will buy this product again next year.

I use this every year. No problems. It walks you through each question without causing confusion. Simple questions that we simple people can understand.

Five years in a row I have used this software, makes doing taxes easier. Best of all able to use last year's return to autofill current year's return.

Very easy to set up!! Some issues with certain tax questions but it might have been to my particular situation. I use this software every year and will continue in the future.

Easy-to-use software with the peace of mind that H&R Block brings to the table. The only negative I saw was that the number of allowable entries for property tax was limited.
