I bought this for my grandson who is almost 12. We started it together then he took over. Great way to spend vacation away from video games. He has ADHD and it kept him engaged until he was finished. Couldn't get to fly 7 feet but he was happy.

This is a fun and different toy. There are lots of tiny pieces so caution is advised if toddlers or small curious kids are hovering around an older sibling constructing this.

My 7 year old has enjoyed this robotic toy. There are configurable options which provides additional challenges. Fair price for a robotic toy.

This was a gift for an 8 year old that loves to build and he really enjoyed setting it up and playing with it.

I usually buy toys that the recommended age is 1 -2 older than the child I am buying for. I got this for my 12 yr old nephew who takes robotics in school & it was very difficult for him to build. Definitely needed an adult to help him. He enjoyed it very much once we helped him build it. This is one of those toys that I would recommend you stay with the age suggested.

A bit difficult for my 12 yr old but a good challenge!

Darts are top heavy and don't lay complete leveled on the track. Also, not as powerful as the Catapult Vex Kit. But, at $10 it was a good building experience.

Nice robotic toy for kids to learn with. Fun to play with. Would buy more VEX products. Kids have a lot of fun.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew. He was able to put it together and working in no time. Really nice that it is educational and fun.

Purchased for grandson who is an absolute nut about Legos. I wanted something different for him, something that would be familiar, but yet a little more challenging. He has totally enjoyed this and worked at it straight through until it was complete. It really is something good and it stays together when played with unlike Legos.

My son is into building things and he saw this at best buy and wanted it. I went back and purchase and have it wrapped for Christmas.
