I went into bestbuy just to look for a 4k tv that had minimun of 120hz refresh rate. The service represnenative pointed me into the direction of this tv. I didnt want to spend more than $700 but he talked highly of the this tv and said its really great for the pricing. When i got home to set the tv up i looked behind it to see the refresh rate which was only 60hz. Bestbuy please ensure your team is fully knowledgeable of products before people buy them. i felt like this was a tv that they just wanted to get rid of from the back due to the amonunt of dust that was on the box. " On a good note if this is your first 4k tv then i would say this is a perfect buy for you but for myself who purchased a 4k tv 3 years ago i expected more

Picked up as a Deal of the Day. I set it up, i didn't like the quality at all. Fairly cheap TV, but so is the quality. I returned it and picked up a Samsung, much, much better quality.. Save up for a better TV.

The tv was great until exactly three months after the warranty period ended, then the sound card crapped out. Now I have no sound. I’m super stoked and looking forward to buying like 10 more hisense TVs.

The first thing I liked about the Hisense 4K UHD Smart TV was how incredibly easy it was to set up. The TV asked me to enter my Google account via my smartphone to expedite the setup process. By taking advantage of this feature, the TV connected itself to my WIFi without having to enter any information on the TV itself. Also, some of my apps had my information transferred so I didn’t have to go to each and every app to sign in again. Netflix and Google were up and ready to go. You are also given the opportunity to register your TV by simply choosing ‘Yes’ when asked. Even though this is a smart TV, I still opted to use my Roku Stick and My Amazon Fire Cube. (the TV remote worked flawlessly with my FireCube, eliminating the need to switch remotes) Fortunately, this TV provides four HDMI ports. When I use the input button on the remote, the HDMI options are displayed, and the HDMI ports with my devices plugged in display the actual name of the device. Rather than seeing the usual HDMI 1, the display shows ‘Fire TV Cube’; HDMI 2 reads ROKU (you are also given the option to name them yourself, nice!) The TV has a very thin bezel, which takes full advantage of the screen size. Speaking of the screen, this one is a beauty! While I was underwhelmed with the quality of the 4K Amazon Fire Cube, the picture was stunning when watching a Blu-Ray movie. For the price point, this is an outstanding unit! Highly recommended! Pros: Very easy setup via your Google account. Four HDMI ports No need to activate certain apps Nice image quality; especially with Blu-ray Decent price point Versatile, intuitive remote control Cons: - Quality didn’t stack up to the higher priced 4K sets (but at this price point, I can live with it)

This TV has tons of features and costs half of Samsung or LG. I did notice the I had to dig into the menu and adjust the picture to get it looking as good as the in store model. Also does not easily integrate with Alexa as I had hoped.

This is the best TV I have ever had; until the screen cover was scratched with a nail. I would not buy again. You can install anything on it though. However, its only suitable for high-up wall installs.

The panel demonstrates flicker during Xbox One feeds on a random basis. Also noticed just a bit too much murky panel uniformity. Good entry level television for those on a budget, but don't expect high standards.

The first few months we had the tv is was fine. It hasn't worked since, so we're replacing it. None of the Android tv apps work, the tv crashes constantly, and it can't run more than 2 apps at a time or it just lags and eventually locks up. Have tried everything. Clearing caches, re-installing apps and OS, hard restarts, unplugging then plugging back in. You name it. The tv was $250 on sale, and I got what I paid for. Junk. Off to buy another Sony.

Hisense - 55" Class - LED - H8F Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR The 55” Hisense LED 4K UHD TV with HDR is a good looking TV but the Display and sound have their limits. The sound is the worst, this can be said of almost all new flat screen TV’s. No one seem to put more than just a few dollars into the speakers. This one is no different, it has the distinct sound of a 1970’s AM radio. Tinny and void of anything like bass. The picture holds it’s own up to TV’s much more expensive but falls short while displaying a solid grey image. This is a color that only the highest end of the flat screens seems to be able to do. On the Hisense greys are displayed as grey with hot and cold spot. The center of the screen is dark, the left side has vertical banding and all 4 corners have dark wedges bleeding into the picture. There are also several blotchy spots. Let me be clear on this, unless your watching a solid grey image you wont notice any of this. The colors are clean, clear, and vibrant. With a 1080P input the TV delivers a beautiful clean picture with all the color depth you could ever want. When a 4K input is selected you may need to push the picture mode up to Vibrant to get the color depth, but it does deliver. Vibrant is overly pushy with 1080P but at 4K you’ll need it. Gaming at 4K is clean and not spotty at all. Colors are deep and clean with a fluid movement to game play, however I was unable to get the same results with just supplying a computer HDMI input at any resolution. Mouse movements were jumpy and videos seemed to be a little on the choppy side. This was only seen when a computer was used as an input. I don’t think this was meant to be used as a monitor on a computer at any time. The TV has “adjustable” feet. They can either be out at the edge of the screen or in about 5 inches. This must be for placing it on an existing entertainment center. I would suggest investing in a proper wall mount. Having a movable wall mount will allow access to all connections. Without a wall mount and just setting it on it’s feet I would highly suggest a child safety cable be attached to the back of the TV and then to the wall. This will prevent the TV from accidentally being pulled over. The TV has Google assistant built in. In my case this was not something I wanted but most all newer TV’s are coming with this in one form or another. Talking to my TV is not something I want to do, however if my hands were to be unusable, for what ever reason, I could see this as an advantage. To only press 1 button and then just talk to it. I don’t need to go over all the inputs as you will no doubt be looking that up before you get to reading reviews. Suffice to say it has pretty much all inputs covered. Unlike last years model, this year all 4 HDMI inputs are 4K @60Hz. It does some up-scaling to 4K @240Hz no matter what input you supply it. Again, this is done by almost all TV’s now. Only HDMI #1 supports ARC. It’s USB ports are slightly different in that only 1 of them seems capable of reading a USB drive. The other seems to be used to power an add on Fire Stick or whatever your plugging in. The strange thing I did notice was that even though I put it on my network it had no updates to do, until I gave it a 4K input. Then it had updates to do that took about 5 minutes. The updates went fine, and everything worked as it should. So it seems that it only looks for updates that apply to what it’s hooked to. I’m only giving it 4 stars because at this price point ($500.00) it should sound a little better and it should be able to display greys slightly better. Knock $100 off and it’s a 5 star TV.
